Hi there Peeps,
Time seems to have gone so fast since my last blog. Weather here has been, dull, wet and windy, the tail end of hurricane Bertha, forecast says it's going to get better by the weekend, let's hope so lol! just a little bit of sunshine would satisfy me after all these dreary days of late.
I would like to welcome my newest follower from across the pond to my blog, Mary H. Thank you for following and I hope you enjoy your visits. I am now following your blog too.
OK my friends, tonight's card was made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts in October 2013 and is a Christmas card. Hope you like this one. I have used another of Imagination Craft's lovely decoupage stamp sets.
Make a base card from navy card stock. Take a piece of pink card cut slightly smaller than the base card and using a navy blue ink pad, stamp the swirls stamp from the set, randomly over the pink card to create a background. Fix a silver ribbon across the centre of the card and glue to the back of the card. Fix this to the navy base card.
Die-cut and emboss the Nestability square by Spellbinders from white card and colour with distress ink before removing the die.
Stamp the main candle image onto a piece of white card and colour with Promarker Pens. Cut away the text and cut a similar shape to the Nestability die, down the left-hand side and glue to the white die-cut square. Matt this onto a piece of navy card and glue on top of the ribbon, towards the left-hand edge of the base card. Last of all, add a silver ribbon bow to the right-hand side of the card.
Well there we have it my friends, card finished. Hope you like it. Take good care of yourselves until my next blog in a couple of days. Stay safe and above all be happy.
Love and rainbows,
Hugs Jennifer xx.

Wow! this is gorgeous. Pink & navy are a super color combo, and with the stamped flourishes onto the pink background, quite spectacular. I love this image, beautifully colored and the glisten of the silver additions. That S/B die is really pretty with this specific image as well. Love it! Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm going to enjoy it here! Have a welcome to yourself on my evening's post as well. Hugs & TFS
