My Mid August Inspiration for the Imagination Challenge Blog.

Good morning my Lovelies,

I'm afraid this will be a quick post this morning, as I have a very busy day ahead.  Here is my project for the Imagination Challenge Blog's mid month inspiration.   The theme this month is 'Summer Holiday.'  So, without further ado, we'll get started.   Hope you like it.

Make a base card from lavender card and onto this matt a smaller piece of white card, leaving a border of lavender showing.

Take the coloured card and lay the windmill stencil onto it and spread the sparkle medium over the design on the stencil, using the metal spatula.   Remove stencil and leave image to dry.

When  the image is dry, trim all four edges so it matts onto the white card and leaves a border of the white showing.

Using another piece of coloured card, repeat the process again.   Leave the image to dry.   When dry, die-cut a square from the centre of this second image.   Put the square aside for the moment and use the left-over frame and layer this onto the original image using sticky foam pads.

Cut out the buildings and the top of the windmill, from the square die-cut and fix in position using sticky foam pads.

Punch out six flowers using the Martha Stewart flower punch from the left over coloured card and glue to the card front.

Die-cut six stamen using a Marianne flower die set, from white card and glue to the flower centres.  Well that's it.   I do hope you join us in this challenge, you could win a voucher worth £40 to spend on Imagination Craft's products.

Please pop across to the Imagination Challenge Blog to see the beautiful inspiration projects from the other Ladies in the Design Team.     See you all soon.

                                                               Love and Rainbows,

                                                                 Hugs   Jennifer xx

  9. Oh my, this is a most complex card with such depth & color. I liked the soft sunset colors and that sparkle of the windmill stencil is a BIG WOW! The idea to frame it as you did, was so creative, as it added such a depth to the stenciled piece. The pretty flowers in the upper corner were more icing on the cake and these were cut from your 'snippets', so you could enter this over at Pixie's Snippets Playground! TFS & Have a great wkend.
