My Inspiration piece for the May Imagination Craft's Challenge Blog.

Hope everyone is fit and well and are looking forward to the Bank holiday weekend, not long to wait now.   Hope you have some happy time planned.

The theme for this month's Imagination Craft's Challenge Blog  is 'Things with wings.'  and  I would like to share my card with you all.

OK, I know you want me to stop the chit chat and get on with the card...I began by making a base card from dark green card stock and then matted  some white then light green card onto the base card, each time leaving  a small border showing each time.   Next take the patterned card ( Bay Leaf,) and using the 'Bay Leaf'  Stencil, put through an embossing machine and emboss.   Lay the stencil back on the embossed card and dab some Versamark through the design, using some cut n' dry foam.   Remove stencil and heat emboss using green and gold embossing powder.

     
Cut out a white oval and put through an embossing machine along with the honeycombe stencil and emboss.
Colour this with orange mica powder.    Matt this onto a slightly larger dark green oval  and glue this to the left-hand side of the patterned card.    Die-cut the mesh panel from white card, using the Memorybox die and weave the orange ribbon under and over the mesh,  secure the ribbon ends on the reverse of the card.     Fix this card to the base card.

Die-cut three Memorybox butterflies.   Cover them with Versamark and heat emboss with the green and the gold embossing powder.   Glue the butterflies on top of the ribbon.   Add  a  green glitter flower to each butterfly and glue onto the base card.

Last of all, add an orange bow to the top of the card.   Well that's it finished folks, hope you like it.    I hope this card provides you with some inspiration and that you will join us at the Imagination Crafts challenge.   The design team look forward to seeing your projects.
