Balmy Summer Days.

Hello Followers, Friends and Visitors,

First of all I would like to say "hello"  to my newest Follower, Aussie Annie.   Welcome to my blog, I  hope you enjoy your visits.   I do appreciate you all and thank you for your constant support and your encouragement, it makes the time I spend all worth while.

I thought I would cheer everyone up with  a card today which makes us think of blue skies, fluffy white clouds and wall to wall sunshine lol!   Hope you like it.    I have  used Imagination Craft's Sparkle Medium, my favourite product of theirs.    I also use one of their lovely scene stencils,  which is available on their website.   This card was made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts  in June 2012.

Make a base card from orange card stock.   Onto this matt some white then black card, each time leaving a small border showing.

Take another piece of white card.   Using the Marianne Design Die, cut out and emboss the circles,   we will use the inner circle and the outer negative of the larger circle..   Lay the negative over the white card and use this like a stencil,  blend the distress inks using the blending tool, over the inside of the negative.   Remove the negative.   Lay the beach huts stencil on the white card again and spread the sparkle medium over it with a metal spatula.

Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.   Repeat this again on another piece of white card but the beach huts only this time,  plus the two larger clouds.   Matt the image onto the base card.   Cut out the clouds and the huts only from the second image and 3D onto the original image.   Colour around the edges of the card with distress inks.

Take the small inner circle you die cut and colour it with distress inks.   Stamp 'Happy Birthday' onto it using a black inkpad and fix to the centre of the card using sticky foam pads.

Take another piece of white card and using the shells stamp, roll this across the card, using the black ink pad.   Colour the card with distress inks and cut out the individual shells, starfish etc.,  and fix to the bottom of the base card, using sticky foam pads to add a little more dimension to the card.

Add a narrow strip of orange card across the bottom.   Add a gold holographic heart just above the cloud on the right hand side.   Add a few smaller cut out shells to the sand beside the beach huts.

Well that's it my friends, I do hope the sight of my card makes you think of a beautiful summer's day and brings a smile to your face.

Take care of yourselves and have a wonderful weekend, see you again very soon

                                                               Love and rainbows,

                                                                Hugs    Jennifer xx.
