Hope your weekend has got off to a good start. Mine has been a quiet one so far, which is just as well as I have a painful knee and I've been trying to rest it as much as I can. It doesn't stop me from crafting though, lol ! thank goodness! Well the card I have for you tonight was made for Imagination Crafts in May of 2009, which seems a long time ago now. It is made using an Ollyfant stamp set, I know Imagination Crafts have some of these stamp sets in their bargin basement but not sure if this particular one is still available but it's worth a look see lol. Let's get started.
Begin with a square white card with a round aperture and using the smoke blue pigment ink pad and the Rollagraph stamp - 1" Zephyr fixed into the Rollagraph holder, run the roller around the outside edge of the circle and heat emboss with crystal embossing powder. Colour the rest of the front of the card with the smoke blue ink pad and a piece of cut n' dry.
Using the cropodile, punch out two holes , one in the centre at each side of the apperture and set in two blue snaps by Making Memories. The tops of the snaps will sink inwards - glue a medium rhinstone to the domed centres of the snaps.
Fix the patterned glitter card (Glitter Stack by DCWV) behind the apperture and seal shut. Using the Cricut machine and the George & Basic Cartridge) cut out a 31/2" number two and a 1/12" open flower from blue card. Then cut out a 1" flower from orange card. Colour the edges of the number 2 and the blue flower with the blue ink pad.
Attach the small rhinestones evenly down the centre of the number 2 and fix this to the right-hand side of the aperture with silicone glue. Glue a bow to the top right-hand corner.
Glue the orange flower on top of the blue flower and fix a rhinestone in the centre. Glue this to the top left of the aperture. Using white card, stamp the boy with the ball of wool, four times and the kitten twice.
Colour with le' Plume pens or similar, cut out and 3D. Glue the boy to the base of the number 2 on the edge of the aperture and the kitten to the bottom left corner of the card.
Well that's it folks, hope you like it. Until next time take care of yourselves and above all be happy.
Love and rainbows,
Big Hugs, see you soon,
Jennifer xx
