Good evening Lovelies,
Hope your week has got off to a good start. Mine started quietly, which has given me time to re-charge my batteries so to speak and get ready to make a new batch of sample cards for Sue and Harvey of Imagination crafts. I do like to have something on the go all the time. Well onto this evening's card which I made for the last Imagination Craft's Weekender Show on Create and Craft TV. It uses their beautiful new panel stencil 'Meadow Flower,' Autumn Orange patterned card and of course, Sparkle Medium lol!! The colours I used were Berries and Golden Pine. Are you ready to begin? OK off we go then.
Make a base card from red card stock. Take the patterned card and lay thr flower head on the stencil, onto the top right-hand corner, masking off the stem, so as not to get the red sparkle medium on the stem, which will in the end, be green. Spread the berries over the flower head. Remove stencil and leave the image to dry.
Repeat this a further three times, once in each corner. When dry, return the stencil to the card again and spread the golden pine sparkle medium over the stem. Remove stencil and leave to dry. Repeat this a further three times, joining up the stems, so one stem has a flower head on each end.
Punch out six small daisies from red card and glue to the card front. Glue the stencilled image to the red base card.
Next spread some of the golden pine sparkle medium onto a piece of acetate and some berries sparkle medium onto another piece of acetate and leave to dry. When dry, punch out one butterfly from red acetate, using the Memory Box die and one from the green acetate. Matt the red one on top of the green and glue the butterfly to the centre of the flowers
Well that is it, finished, quite an easy card to make except it does take a little time as you have to wait for the sparkle medium to dry, before returning the stencil to the card each time but I do hope you think the end result is worth the extra time. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog, I do love to read your comments and I do reply to each and every one.
Take good care of yourselves until my next post in a few days time.
Love and rainbows,
Jennifer Hugs xx.
