Little Robin Redbreast Christmas card

Hi there peeps,

Hope you are all well and enjoying this fabulous weather.   Managed to fit in a little crafting this afternoon,   I'm working on some new samples for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts, ready for their next Create and Craft T.V. show.   Not sure of the date yet, but will let you know as soon as I know.

Tonight's card is.........yes a Christmas card.   My first one this year lol !!   I made this in July 2012.   I do hope you like it.   OK off we go.

Make a base card from red card stock.   Matt some white card onto the red leaving a border of the red showing.   Take a piece of the shiny green card and cut slightly smaller than the white.   Lay the embossable on top and spread the silver sparkle medium  over it, using the metal spatula, which can be purchased from Imagination Crafts.   Leave the image to dry.   When dry, matt this onto the white card using double-sided sticky tape.

Cut an oblong of white card approx. 2"x5".   Next cut a piece of red card slightly smaller than the white and  using the snow dots embossable, run through an embossing machine.   Matt the red onto the white oblong and fix to the left-hand side of the base card.

Take some white card and stamp the main robin image onto it, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss using silver embossing powder.    Stamp a further five images, paint them, using the Vintage Pearly Palette paints, brush and water.   Then cut out and decoupage using silicone glue.

Use some bundled sage distress ink and the red paint from the pearly palette, on the background of the original image.

Fix this main image to the base card with the left-hand edge over the red card.  Last of all, add a ribbon bow to the top right of the image.

Well that's all from me tonight, off to bed for me, as it is after midnight as usual lol !!   Hope you like my card.   Thanks for stopping by to read my blog.   See you all again in a few days.   Take care of yourselves and be happy !!

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                                Big Hugs   Jennifer xx

    1. Hello Tracey, thanks for your visit to my blog. I'm so pleased you like my card. I am in total agreement with you, the vintage pearly palette paints are just beautiful as they have a touch of gold in them. I too love robins, I used to have one which would fly to my hand for some tiny pieces of peanuts but it didn't linger lol!
