Well here we are again at the beginning of yet another month, we seem to be galloping through 2014 and that means it is time for my project for the Imagination Craft's Challenge blog. The theme this month is 'All that glitters.' If you would like to join us in this challenge and you have some Imagination Craft's products, why not give it a go. A voucher worth £40 to spend on Imagination Craft's products could be yours but you have to enter to win it lol! This morning's card uses Imagination Craft's beautiful Arch of Flowers stencil and the Garden Chair stencil I also used my favourite Imagination Craft's product - Sparkle Medium.
Make a base card from cream card stock and onto this matt a piece of green card, cut slightly smaller than the cream, so a narrow border of the cream card is left showing
Take a piece of craft card and lay the flower arch stencil onto it and spread the light copper sparkle medium over the design using the metal spatula. Remove the stencil and wash it straight away or the sparkle medium will dry on it. Leave the image to dry naturally, about an hour. When dry, lay the chair stencil onto the card, underneath the arch of flowers. Mask off everything except the chair. Spread the golden pine sparkle medium over the chair. Remove stencil and leave to dry.
When dry, wrap a cream coloured ribbon down the left-hand side of the piece of craft card, securing on the reverse. Fix this to the base card.
Die-cut the flower and stems using the Memory box die, then colour with the gold brocade and red satin Silkies for the flower and the apple lace for the leaves. stems and the flower centre. 3D the flower onto the ribbon.
Paint some of the sparkle mediumed leaves and flowers on the arch of flowers, with the Silkies, straight from the jar.
Well that's it finished my friends, I do hope you like it. Please remember to check out my Teamies inspiration pieces by going to this link Here The DT Ladies have been very busy and have made some beautiful projects.
