Poppy Time

Hello Lovelies,

It's me back again.   Hasn't the weather been glorious, wall to wall sunshine and very hot, a little too hot for me lol!   I'm not a hot house flower !  but mustn't grumble as it could be raining tomorrow lol !   I know the plants in my pots and the garden need some rain, that's for sure.   If it doesn't rain tomorrow I'll be out with the watering can lol!

Tonight I would like to share with you,  a card which I made for Imagination Craft's last Weekender Show on Create and Craft.    This card uses the poppies gilding stamp set along with Imagination Craft's beautiful Silkies. Just for once , I haven't used Sparkle Medium !!   This is quite an easy card to make,  so let's get started   lol!!

First of all,  make a base card from white card stock.   Matt some black card onto the white, leaving a border of white showing.   Onto this, matt a piece of white card then a piece of black.

Take a piece of shiny white card just slightly smaller than the last black matt and colour using the Silkies and a piece of cut n' dry foam.   Using the black ink pad, stamp the poppies  onto the shiny card.

When dry, fix a ribbon around the card and secure the ribbon on the back of the card.   Add a white lacey die-cut edge just below the ribbon.
Colour some white card with the Silkies and when dry, punch out a flower and glue to the card  front.   Add a black circle to the flower centre.   Glue this card onto the base card.

Lastly, add a ribbon bow to the top left of the card.    Well that's it finished my friends, hope you like it.
I'll be back soon with another  card,  in the meantime enjoy the beautiful sunshine  and be happy.

Thank you for visiting my blog,  if it has given you even the tiniest bit of inspiration, I'll be pleased.   See you all soon.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                                       Jennifer xxx .
