Butterfly Medley.

Hi there Followers, Friends and Visitors,
Easter Greetings to you all.    Tonight I have a card for you which I made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts.  in April 2014.   For this card I have used their Butterfly Medley decoupage stamp set.   I think most people like butterflies, I know I do.    To give the card that extra special sparkle, I have used Imagination Craft's  Jade Sparkle Medium, which is non-shedding, a real plus as you don't find it all over the house lol!  

Make a base card from white card stock.   Matt a piece of purple paper onto the base card, leaving a small border of the white card showing.  

   
Next, using the patterned pink card, lay the stencil on top and spread the Jade Sparkle Medium over it, using the metal spatula.   Remove  stencil and leave the image to dry.

  When dry, cut around the outside edge of the design, leaving a tiny border of pink showing.   Fix this to the base card.    

   
Stamp the butterfly image twice onto white card  using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with turquoise and silver embossing powders.   Fix one to a piece of purple paper and trim around the edges, leaving a small border of the purple showing.   Fix this to the centre of the  Sparkle Medium design.   Colour the butterflies with Turquoise Lace and Emerald Satin Silkies, which leaves a beautiful subtle sheen.

Cut out the large butterfly from the second stamped image and 3D onto the original image, using silicone glue.

         
Now for the 'side view' butterfly, this needs only the nearest wing and body cutting out and 3D ing onto the original image, again using silicone glue.     Well this is now finished, quite a quick easy card to make.
