H there everyone,
Well I think I was right about the change in the weather, we have had a few spits and spots of rain tonight. We can't grumble as we have had some beautiful days of late. Hope you are all looking forward to your weekend.
Tonight I would like to share another sample I made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Craft's for their latest show on Create and Craft TV. For this I chose my favourite colour, lilac. The stencil I have used is the very pretty 'Tweet' stencil. I do hope you gain some inspiration from my creations.
Make a base card from Lavender card stock. Matt some white card onto the lavender card, leaving a narrow border of lavender showing.
Take the patterned card, 'shabby lace' and lay the stencil on top of it and spread the gold shine Sparkle Medium over it, using the metal spatula. Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.
Stamp the musical notes from the lilies decoupage stanp set at the top of the card, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with purple and gold embossing powders.
Glue two white, Tattered Lace die-cut corners to the card, one at the top right and the other to the bottom left.
Spread some gold sparkle medium through the stencil again onto a piece of white card and then onto a piece of the patterned card and leave to dry. When dry, cut the white card with the next size down using the Sizzix scalloped square dies.
Matt the white card onto the original image, matching up the design, using sticky foam pads. Next add the smaller patterned card, scalloped square, again lining up the image and fix that to the white square with sticky foam pads.
Stamp the main lily image from the lily decoupage stamp set onto white card using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with purple and gold embossing powders. Stamp the image once more. Cut out both images and 3D onto the base card, using silicone glue. (Cut out the lily only from the stamped image.)
Die-cut a small white scalloped square and stamp 'Just a note' onto it, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with gold and purple embossing powder. Colour around the edges with the milled lavender distress ink and fix this to the top right of the card, using sticky foam pads.
That's it finished my friends. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and if you have left me a comment, many thanks. See you all again in a few days.
Love and rainbows,
Hugs Jennifer xx.
