The weather has been lovely again today, blue skies and plenty of sunshine. Make the most of it, as I understand it is about to change for the weekend. Never mind, have managed to get lots of jobs done in the garden as well as the lawns cut.
I just thought I'd slip in an extra post tonight. While waiting for the products for my next samples to arrive, I had a delve into my stamp boxes and found some stamps that haven't seen the light of day for many years. I couldn't resist a play with them, so here is one of the cards I made today, using a Hampton Art Stamp. Although I have not used an Imagination Craft's stamp, I have used Imagination Craft's beautiful 'daisy oval ' stencil and of course one of my favourite products, Sparkle Medium. Hope you like it.
Make a white base card and matt a piece of wine coloured card onto it, leaving a tiny border of white showing. Take a slightly smaller piece of white card and lay the daisy oval stencil onto it. Spread the ruby gold Sparkle Medium over the stencil, using the metal spatula.
Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry. When dry, wrap a piece of wine coloured ribbon across the card front and secure on the reverse. Matt this card onto the base card.
Stamp the 'teatime' stamp onto some white card using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with burgundy embossing powder. Cut around the design and fix to the centre of the daisy oval, using sticky foam pads.
Paint the white parts of her dress with the gold paint from Imagination Craft's 'Vintage' paint palette.
Lastly, add a ribbon bow to the right-hand side of the ribbon.
The card is now finished, hope you like it. Thank you for visiting my blog, I do hope you've enjoyed your visit. Please feel free to leave me a comment, I love to hear your thoughts on my creations. Take care of yourselves and I will be back in a couple of days. See you all then.
Love and Rainbows,
