I'm back again with another creation I have made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts. Sue will be on Create and Craft TV on the 18th April, I do hope you will be able to tune in. Tonight's card is made using their patterned background card called 'crackle sepia,' The stencil is 'bayleaf,' which I just love and of course, a card needs a little bit of sparkle, so I used the bright copper, gold shine, jade and forest green Sparkle Mediums. Below is the finished card. Hope you like it.
Make a card from cream card. Draw around all four edges using a black pen. Colour in alternate squares, these squares and oblongs do not need to be of a uniform size, in fact they add to the look of the card by being uneven.
Matt another piece of the cream card onto the base card, leaving part of the squares/oblongs showing. Next matt a smaller piece of black card on top of the cream.
Take the patterned card and lay the bayleaf stencil onto it and spread the bright copper Sparkle Medium over the stencil, using the metal spatula.
Add small amounts of the forest green and gold shine Sparkle Mediums over the bright copper. Add some forest green to the bottom of the bayleaf stems. Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.
Spread some jade and touches of gold shine and bright copper Sparkle Mediums over s small piece of black card and leave to dry. When dry, die-cut a flower using the Memory Box die.
Trim the patterned card using a trimmer and a scalloped blade, just enough to leave a small border of the black card showing and fix to the base card. Glue the flower to the bottom left of the base card.
Using the dragonfly stamps from the Imagination Craft's Dragonflies Decoupage stamp set, stamp one large and one small dragonflies, using black ink onto cream card. Cut out and 'tangle' some patterns onto them using a black pen.
Glue these dragonflies to the base card using silicone glue, to raise up the wings. Well that's this card finished. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by my blog to see my creations, it is much appreciated.
Please pop back again, I will be sharing one of Imagination Craft's gorgeous MDF wall shelves that I have decorated. When I opened the parcel on arrival, I saw these beautiful shelves and I just fell in love with them immediately lol! You will just love them too! They were designed by Tracey Dutton of Lavinia Stamps for Imagination Crafts. I just adore Tracey's designs, they are right up my street as they say lol! See you very soon.
Love and Rainbows,
Happy Crafting,
Hugs Jennifer xx.
