Hi there Everyone,
Time for my usual blog post. The card I am sharing with you all tonight is made with one of my favourite Imagination Craft's dies from their Celtic Dreams Collection. These dies were designed for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Craft's by the very talented Tracey Dutton of Lavinia Stanps.
Make a base card from the teal card stock. Onto this. matt a slightly smaller piece of white card, leaving a border of the teal showing.
Next, matt a slightly smaller piece of lilac satin card onto the white, again leaving a small border of the white showing. Cut a piece of card two and a half inches by five and a quarter inches from some spare teal card and cut in half, then glue them across the centre of the base card.
Using the Tonic corner die, die-cut four corners from white card. Glue one in each corner of the base card, using Magi-bond glue. Cut a strip of lilac satin card and glue across the centre of the card, filling the gap between the die-cut corners.
Using white card and the 'stargazing' die, cut out the pixies. Trim the outside edge and the plants away, leaving only the pixies, their wings and part of the hill that they are sitting on. Glue this to the centre of the base card, leaving their wings free of glue. Gently bend the wings up.
Lastly add dots of the jade detail sparkle to the four corners. Well that's this card finished. I do love these little pixies, sitting there on the hill together! Anyone who knows me, knows I adore anything to do with pixies, fairies etc., I've never quite grown up lol! always did like a fairy story! and still do lol!!
Thank you for stopping by my blog, I do hope you have enjoyed your visit and hopefully I have given you some inspiration for your card making.
