Hi there, happy Monday All,
What has happened to the weather lol! it's more like Autumn than Summer. We've had a very dull day all day here, with drizzle and spells of heavy rain, certainly doesn't feel like Summer.
Indoor activities today! so Grandson and I had a sort out of his toys, the ones he has grown out of, so they have been packed away, just in case anymore grandchildren come along lol! and if they don't, we will give them to a charity in the future. No crafting today, too busy sorting toys! cooking meals and housework, a woman's work is never done lol! ha ha.
I have used the lovely daisy curl stencil, which makes a super background and the gorgeous new orange oxidation Starlight Paint. These lovely paints from Imagination Craft's sold out on Create & Craft's show last Friday but fear not, Sue assures me, new stocks are on their way, so by the end of the week they will be back in stock.! get them whilst you can lol!
Fold the white card in half down the crease line, making a 7"x7" base card. Matt a smaller piece of turquoise card onto the base card.
Lay the daisy curl stencil onto some spare white card and spread the blue moonstone Sparkle Medium over the design. Remove the the stencil and leave the image to dry. When dry cut in half and put to one side.
Take some cream ribbon and colour it with the oxidation Starlight paint. This will stiffen the ribbon slightly but that is fine as it makes a lovely firm bow.
Fix the two halves of the daisy curl stencilled card, onto the card front, one to the top and the other to the bottom but not sealing down at each side immediately but glue the ribbon across the card, then seal down, leaving a gap between the two, so the turquoise card below shows through the gap.
Die-cut a large and a small scalloped circle from white card and one medium circle from turquoise card. Matt the circles onto each other, using silicone glue, to give dimension to your card.
Take the Art Cutz flower and put through an embossing machine along with the daisy curl stencil and emboss.
Colour the flower with blue and orange oxidation Starlight paints. Put a circle of the blue moonstone Sparkle Medium onto the smallest white scalloped circle and press the flower onto it whilst Sparkle Medium is still wet and the Sparkle Medium will squeeze through the holes in the flower centre.
Take seven pieces of candy circles and paint with the orange oxidation paint. Glue one to the flower centre and the others to each side of the card. Glue the scalloped circles and the flower on top of the ribbon. Glue two small loops of coloured ribbon under the edges og the large scalloped circle. Well that's it finished, I do hope you like it. Take care of yourselves and I'll be back with another card soon. Have a good week.
Love and rainbows,
