Good evening Peeps,
I would like to share another Christmas card with you tonight. This was made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts in June 2014. For this card I have used traditional Christmas colours and silver Sparkle Medium. Thank you to all who have visited since I first began my blog, I really appreciate each and every one of you. I do hope you enjoy your visits. Well, on with tonight's card.
Make a base card from silver/grey card, folded in half, portrait style. Die - cut a border from black card, using the Spellbinders die and glue down the right - hand side of the base card.
Take the red patterned card and lay the stencil on top and spread the silver Sparkle Medium over the baubles. Remove the stencil and leave the images to dry. Replace the stencil and spread the red and green Sparkle Mediums over the holly. Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.
When dry, add some small blobs of gold Detail Sparkle onto the baubles. Glue two ribbons to the top of the design below the holly berries.
Take a piece of black card, larger than the panel card and die - cut the zigzag from it, down the right hand side. Put the die - cut zigzag to one side for another project and use the negative left over, after cutting out the zigzag. Matt the patterned panel card onto the larger piece of black card with the negative, down the right hand edge and fix to the white base card.
Now, match up the other piece of black negative card with the main panel and glue in position. Add some dots of gold Detail Sparkle down the gap between the two negative pieces of card. Well there we have it, the card is now finished. This is a quick card to make if you are making a great many Christmas cards. I'll be back very soon, in the meantime, have a fabulous weekend. Take care of yourselves.
Love and rainbows,
