The pinks and Blues.

Good evening Lovelies,

I'm back again with another card, not a Christmas card this time but a card made with Imagination Craft's  sunburst decoupage stamp set.     I made this card for Sue and Harvey in September 2014.

Make a base card from white card.   Matt a smaller piece of blue card onto the white card, leaving a small border of white showing.   Onto this, matt a piece of white card down the left-hand side of the card, approximately five inches by two and a half inches.

   
Take a piece of white paper and colour with the royal blue Silkie, only a small amount of the blue, then dilute it until it is very pale.   Brush this over the white paper.

When the paper is dry, randomly stamp the different sized flowers from the stamp set, over the paper until it is completely covered, using a black ink pad, stamping it onto some spare paper before stamping onto your coloured paper, so the image is much paler in colour.    We don't want the  background to stand out too much, or it will detract from our main images, which will be flowers.

   
Stamp one large and one small flower from blue card, using the Versamark pad and heat emboss with black embossing powder. 

Stamp one large and one small flower from white card using the black ink pad.  Stamp two large and one small flowers using the Versamark pad, onto white card and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.   Colour these with the Silkies.

 
Draw patterns on the petals of one  large pink flower with a black pen.   Cut out the flowers.   Die cut the leaves from white card,  using the Tattered Lace die.     Layer the flowers and leaves down the left-hand side of the card.

       
Emboss some white card using the  Cuttlebug diamond embossing folder  and cut part of it out by hand, glue this to the right side of the card.
