Good afternoon Peeps,
Hope you're not finding this weather too hot! We have a mixture of cloudy and sunny spells here but it is quite warm. Too hot to garden so I've spent a little time in my crafty space. Today I'd like to share a card with you, that I made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts, back in March 2014. This flourish stencil is such a useful background stencil, I use it a lot, along with the diamond stencil. Lets get started !
Make a base card from white card stock. Take a smaller piece of white card and lay the flourishes stencil on top and dab Versamark through the design, using a piece of cut n' dry foam. Remove the stencil and heat emboss using gold embossing powder.
Place the stencil back on top of the gold embossing and move the stencil slightly to the right, just a little and then dab some black soot distress ink through the design. Remove the stencil.
Rub the black soot distress ink around the edges of the card. Matt this onto the base card, leaving a border of white card showing.
Stamp the Freesia stamp six times onto white card using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with black embossing powder.
Colour the images with the paint from Imagination Craft's pearly paint palette, a brush and water.
Cut out the main image, leaving a tiny white border of white around it, then 3D the flowers using the other stamped images. I used silicone glue, as I think you get a better result but you could also use sticky foam pads. Fix this image to the centre of the base card.
Well that's it for today folks, hope you like it. See you again soon. Thanks for visiting.
Love and rainbows,
