Here Comes Spring, a 'Sneaky Peek.'

Good afternoon Followers, Friends and Visitors,

What a beautiful day it is here, I do hope you are all experiencing this gorgeous  sunshine too.   It certainly makes a change from those dull grey skies!    I would like to share a 'sneaky peek' at one of my projects I have made for Sue and Harvey of  Imagination Crafts.       They have  shows  on the Hochanda T.V Channel on Saturday 11th. March at  8am.   1pm.   and 5pm.   I do hope you can tune in.

Talking of  sunshine, my card today reflects this beautiful sunny weather we are having right now.   It has a Spring like feel to it.   The stencil I have used is so pretty and I felt it just needed a light, fresh looking background.   I have also incorporated the 'foiling' technique which I think just finishes off the images.

Matt a square of dark navy card onto the white 7"x7" base card, leaving a border of the white showing.   Take a smaller square of white card and colour the top two thirds with the blue distress inks and the bottom third with the two green inks.

Lay the flower stencil onto the now coloured card and colour the design with the distress inks, using a piece of cut 'n' dry foam.   Leave the stencil in place until the inks have dried.   Next, using the 'foiling' technique. outline the flower heads with the blackcurrant Sparkle Medium and the leaves and stems with the sage green Sparkle Medium.   I prefer to use my finger to do this, as I can feel the Sparkle Medium being pushed to the outside edges of the images on the stencil.   Remove the stencil and leave the images to dry.

Add some Stickles  glitter to the two largest flower centres and a little to the stamen of the flower on the right.

Glue an iridescent gem stone to the centres of the blue and yellow flowers, using Magi-bond glue.   Glue this card onto the base card.

Die-cut an oval from white card and colourwith the distress inks.   tamp the sentiment onto the oval using a black ink pad.

Add some blackcurrant Sparkle Medium to the edges and fix this to the bottom right of the base card, using sticky foam pads to raise it up a little.

That's this card finiashed, so that is all from me for the moment.   Please pop back soon, as I will be sharing another 'sneaky peek' with you.   Enjoy your Friday, have fun and above all -  be happy!   See you soon.

                                                               Love and rainbows,

                                                                 Hugs   Jennifer xx.
