Stargazing Pixies.

Hi there Everyone,

Time for my usual blog post.   The card I am sharing with you all tonight is made with one of my favourite Imagination Craft's  dies from their Celtic Dreams Collection.   These dies were designed for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Craft's by the very talented Tracey Dutton of Lavinia Stanps.

Make a base card from the teal card stock.   Onto this. matt a slightly smaller piece of white card, leaving a border of the teal showing.

Next, matt a slightly smaller piece of lilac satin card onto the white, again leaving a small border of the white showing.    Cut a piece of card two and a half inches by five and a quarter inches from some spare teal card and cut in half, then glue them across the centre of the base card.

Using the Tonic corner die,  die-cut four corners from white card.   Glue one in each corner of the base card, using Magi-bond glue.   Cut a strip of lilac satin card and glue across the centre of the card, filling the gap between the die-cut corners.

Using white card and the 'stargazing' die,  cut out  the pixies.   Trim the outside edge and the plants away, leaving only the pixies, their wings  and part of the hill that they are sitting on.  Glue this to the centre of the base card, leaving their wings free of glue.   Gently bend the wings up.

Lastly add dots of the jade detail sparkle to the four corners.   Well that's this card finished.   I do love these little pixies, sitting there on the hill together!    Anyone who knows me, knows  I adore  anything to do with pixies, fairies etc.,   I've never quite grown up lol!   always did like a fairy story!  and still do lol!!

Thank you for stopping by my blog, I do hope you have enjoyed your visit and hopefully I have given you some inspiration for your card making.

                                                                  Love and Rainbows

                                                                 See you all again soon,

                                                                  Big Hugs    Jennifer xx.

With a Little Help from Mouse.

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all well and managing to keep warm during this really cold spell of weather.   Hopefully the sun is just around the corner!!     I just thought I'd pop by and  post  an extra creation for you.  Although this is not an Imagination Craft's stamp, I have coloured it with Imagination Craft's  Chalkies paints.   These paints are lovely to use and you need very little.   The colours are so delicate and pretty, they remind me of sugared almonds lol!  ( love them too!!)   I went craft shopping and I just could not resist this little mouse stamp by Stampendous, he's just so cute.   Hope you like it too.

Make a base card from maroon card stock.   Die-cut four corners from gold mirror  card, using  the Tattered Lace corner die.   Glue one in each corner.

Stamp the mouse image onto a piece of white card, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.    Colour the image using Imagination Craft's  Chalkies and water.    Trim this card and round off all four corners using a corner rounder die.

Matt this onto a slightly larger piece of gold mirror card and  round off all four corners.   Matt this onto a slightly larger piece of white card, again rounding off the corners.

Matt the image onto the base card using double sided sticky tape.   Punch out eight tiny gold butterflies using the Tonic corner punch and glue three to the image and five down the left-hand side of the marroon base card.

Last but not least, add a ribbon bow to the right of the main image.   Well, that's all for now,  I will be back very soon with another card.   Take care of yourselves until then and many thanks for taking the time to visit and comment on my blog, much appreciated.

                                                                  Love and Rainbows,

                                                                  Big Hugs   Jennifer xx.

Butterfly Time.

Good evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Well what a change in the weather  lol!!    one day it's t shirts, next it is woolly jumpers!   Hope this cold snap  doesn't last too long, I think we are all in need of more sunshine!   Tonight I would like to share another card I made for Imagination Craft's  latest TV show on Create and Craft which was shown on the 18th April.    Here is my step by step, hope you like it.

Make a base card using some maroon card stock.   Matt the gold satin card onto the base card, leaving a border of the maroon showing.

Take the patterned lilac linen card and rub the seedless preserves distress ink over it and dry with a heat gun, as it takes longer to dry naturally, because of the smooth coated surface.

Next, lay the bayleaf stencil onto the card and dab the stormy sky distress ink through the design.   Remove the stencil and  again, dry with a heat gun.   Lay the stencil back onto the linen patterned card and move the stencil slightly to one side of the inked image, giving it a shadow effect.   Spread the forest green and the gold shine sparkle mediums over the design, using the metal spatula.   Remove stencil and leave the image to dry.

Take a piece of white card, smaller than the gold and die-cut a circle from the centre.   Glue the now dry lilac linen card to the centre of the gold card.   Fix the white square card with the circle aperture centrally over the base card, using sticky foam pads, to give some dimension to the card.   Die-cut four corners from maroon card, using the Tattered Lace corner die and glue one in each corner of the white card.   Die-cut three flowers from some spare patterned card using the Memory Box die and glue to the edge of the circle.   Add a pearl to the centre of each flower.

Stamp two small and one large butterflies from the 'time flies' stamp set, onto a spare piece of patterned  card, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with white embossing  powder.   Glue them to the card front.

Well the card is now finished.    Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog, hope you have enjoyed your visit.   Please pop back again.   See you all in  a few days.

                                                              Love and rainbows,

Just a Note.

H there everyone,

Well I think I was right  about the change in the weather, we have had a few spits and spots of rain tonight.   We can't  grumble as we have had some beautiful days of late.   Hope you are all looking forward to your weekend.

Tonight I would like to share another sample I made for  Sue and Harvey of Imagination Craft's for their latest show on Create and Craft TV.   For this I chose my favourite colour, lilac.   The stencil I have used is the very pretty 'Tweet' stencil.   I do hope you gain some inspiration from my creations.

Make a base card from Lavender card stock.   Matt some white card onto the lavender card, leaving a narrow border of lavender showing.

Take the patterned card, 'shabby lace' and lay the stencil on top of it and spread the gold shine Sparkle Medium over it, using the metal spatula.      Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Stamp the musical notes from the lilies decoupage stanp set at the top of the card, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with purple and gold embossing powders.

Glue two white, Tattered Lace die-cut corners to the card, one at the top right and the other to the bottom left.

Spread some gold sparkle medium through the stencil again onto a piece of white card and then onto a piece of the patterned card and leave to dry.   When dry, cut the white card with the next size down using the Sizzix scalloped square dies.

Matt the white card onto the original image, matching up the design, using sticky foam pads.   Next add the smaller patterned card,  scalloped square, again lining up the image and fix that to the white square with sticky foam pads.

Stamp the main lily image from the lily decoupage stamp set onto white card using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with purple and gold embossing powders.   Stamp the image once more.   Cut out both images and 3D onto the base card, using silicone glue.   (Cut out the lily only from the stamped image.)

Die-cut a small white scalloped square and stamp 'Just a note' onto it, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with gold and purple  embossing powder.   Colour around the edges with the milled lavender distress ink and fix this to the top right of the card, using sticky foam pads.

That's it finished my friends.    Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.    Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog  and if you have left me a comment, many thanks.   See you all again in a few days.

                                                                Love and rainbows,

                                                                  Hugs   Jennifer xx.

Time for Tea.

Hello Everyone,

The weather has been lovely again today, blue skies and plenty of sunshine.   Make the most of it, as I understand it is about to change for the weekend.   Never mind, have managed to get lots of jobs done in the garden as well as the lawns cut.

I just thought I'd  slip in an extra post tonight.  While waiting for the products for my next samples to arrive, I had a delve into  my stamp boxes and found some stamps that haven't seen the light of day for many years.   I couldn't resist a play with them, so here is one of the cards I made today, using a Hampton Art Stamp.   Although I have not used an Imagination Craft's stamp, I have used Imagination Craft's  beautiful 'daisy oval ' stencil and of course one of my favourite products, Sparkle Medium.   Hope you like it.

Make a white base card and matt a piece of wine coloured card onto it, leaving a tiny border of white showing.   Take a slightly smaller piece of white card and lay the  daisy oval stencil onto it.   Spread the ruby gold Sparkle Medium over the stencil, using the metal spatula.

Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.   When dry, wrap a piece of wine coloured ribbon across the card front and secure on the reverse.   Matt this card onto the base card.

Stamp the 'teatime' stamp onto some white card using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with burgundy embossing powder.   Cut around the design and fix to the centre of the daisy oval, using sticky foam pads.

Paint the white parts of her dress with the gold paint from Imagination Craft's 'Vintage' paint palette.

Lastly, add a ribbon bow to the right-hand side of the ribbon.

The card is now finished,  hope you like it.   Thank you for visiting my blog, I do hope you've enjoyed your visit.   Please feel free to leave me a comment, I love to hear your thoughts on my creations.   Take care of yourselves and I will be back in a couple of days.   See you all then.

                                                                 Love and Rainbows,

                                                                  Hugs    Jennifer xx.

The Secret Garden.

Hello everyone,

Hope you are all well and are enjoying this beautiful weather!   We've done quite a bit of gardening the last few days and the lawns have had their first cut, although still a little wet.   Hopefully cutting them will help dry them out after the winter weather.

I'm back again with a card I would like to share with you, which I made for Imagination Craft's  latest show on Create & Craft TV on the 18th April.   Anyone who knows me, knows I love anything to do with fairies, pixies etc.,  and this stencil is no exception lol!    The fairy design on this stencil is just so....gorgeous, I just love it!   I chose to use lavender Sparkle Medium  for the fairy, which is a favourite colour of mine.   I do hope you like it.

Make a base card from white card, then matt a piece of purple card onto the white, leaving a small border of the white showing.

Take the piece of patterned card 'Secret Garden' and lay the  'Fairy Dance'  stencil onto it,having first masked off the fairy's wings, using masking tape.

Spread the lavender Sparkle Medium over the fairy on the stencil, using the metal spatula.      Remove the stencil and leave the fairy to dry.

When dry,  remove the masking tape and place the stencil back in position on the patterned card and spread with a mixture of lavender and diamond Sparkle Medium, (mostly diamond, with a touch of lavender)
over the fairy's wings.   Remove stencil and leave the image to dry.

Die-cut a corner using the Tattered Lace die, from white card and glue this to the top right-hand corner of the patterned card.   Matt this onto the purple card.

Die-cut some flowers from white card,. using the Memory Box die and glue these to the bottom left and right-hand corners.

Die-cut some leaves from white card,  using the Tattered Lace die and glue these behind the flowers.   Punch out one large butterfly and four small butterflies from white card and glue to the card front, so the fairy is surrounded by butterflies, adding one to her right arm and one on her right leg.

Well that's it finished, a very quick and easy card to make.    I will soon be receiving the products for the next show and I will be making some new samples, so I think I should get more gardening done whilst the weather is  good and before I begin making more samples, then I won't feel guilty about my crafting lol !!

Take care of yourselves until next time.   Enjoy the rest of your week.    I'll be back in three days, hope to see you then.

                                                                   Love and rainbows,

                                                                    Hugs   Jennifer xx.

'Timeless' wall shelf for Imagination Craft's show on Create & Craft TV. Show.

Good evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Firstly, I would like to welcome my newest follower  Lisa Baker  to my blog.  I do hope you enjoy your visits.   Why don't you pop across to Lisa's blog to see her lovely creations.

I have one more sneaky peek  up my sleeve lol!   I did not get this one shown before Imagination Craft's shows today.     I hope you managed  to tune in to the programs,  the shelves were so popular,   they all sold out within forty minutes and the show had to be cut short !   I just knew they would fly off the shelves  (pardon the pun lol! ) as they really are beautiful.   Such lovely designs and just so different.   OK. onto tonight's creation.

Paint all parts of the wall shelf with the limestone MDF paint .   Colour with distress inks  Walnut stain and seedless preserves, using a piece of cut n' dry foam.    Lay the MDF cat onto a piece of brown card and draw around it with a pencil and cut the cat out.   Put to one side for the moment.

Using the daisy oval stencil and  the distress inks,   add some flowers to the  shelf. as below.

Emboss a piece of cream card using the Tattered Lace embossing folder.   Rub some walnut stain distress ink lightly across the surface of the embossing.   Cut out all the diamonds and glue the remaining lattice to the back of the shelf.

Add some brown card behind the scrolls on the bottom left and top right.   Next glue some of the pearlised blue card to the top left and bottom right.      Next glue  a piece of blue card to the shelf back,  fixing in position behind the lattice.

Make three flowers from some spare blue card by cutting out a circle and cutting a spiral round and round the circle.   Then wind the spiral round and round until you come to the end of the spiral, then glue and hold in position until the glue is partly set.   Glue these flowers to the top right corner.

Glue the brown cat shape you prepared earlier and  onto the MDF cat with Magi-bond glue.   Die-cut some flowers from white card  using the Spellbinders die and colour them with Imagination Craft's gold mica powder and water.   Glue these onto the cat, cutting the flowers to size to fit the cat shape.

Make another three flowers from blue card and glue them onto the centre of some of the gold flowers.

Tie a ribbon around the cat's neck. adding a small brass bell and tie in a bow.   Punch out  small brown circles and glue them to the lattice where they cross-over each other.

Lastly, click your shelf into the slots provided and click in the shelf supports and hey presto, your shelf is finished.    Well that's all from me tonight,   hope you enjoyed seeing everyone's samples.   It always amazes me that we can all be given the same products to work with, yet we all come up with different ideas on how to decorate them.    Enjoy the rest of your weekend.   See you again in a few days.

                                                               Love and Rainbows,

                                                                Hugs   Jennifer  xx.

A Little Bit of Magic. Sneaky Peek made for Imagination Craft's show on Create & Craft.

Good morning Lovelies,

How are you this bright and sunny morning!   Hope you are ready to tune in to Create & Craft TV, to see our lovely Sue from Imagination Craft's at 10am and 4pm this afternoon.   Just thought I'd squeeze one more sample in before the show begins.   Hope you like this one.   Anyone who knows me, knows I love all things 'fairy' or  'pixie' lol! and these toadstools are no exception!

Begin by painting all the shelf parts with a festive berries distress ink pad.   Next paint with crackle medium.   When dry, paint with a layer of the limestone MDF paint.   This will begin to crack as it dries.   Colour with the mowed lawn and peacock feathers distress ink pads.

When dry add a small amount of the forest green Sparkle Medium to the frame.   Cut out one toadstool from the red/gold paper and two from red card.   Lay the  leaf flourish border stencil over large and small toadstools and spread the gold shine Sparkle Medium over them , using the spatula.   Remove the stencil and leave to dry.

Glue the red toadstools to the MDF toadstools, using Magi-bond glue.   Die-cut two butterflies using the Memory Box die, colour with distress inks, then lay the daisy oval flower stencil over them and spread the gold shine Sparkle Medium over the flowers, onto the butterflies wings.   Remove stencil and leave to dry.

Take a piece of navy card and emboss using the diamonds embossing folder.   Glue this to the back of the frame and trim around the edges.   Glue the butterflies in position.

Die-cut the two pixies using the Star gazing die from  the Celtic die collection and cut away everything but the two pixies,   Cover them with gold shine Sparkle Medium and leave to dry.

Glue them to the bottom right with silicone glue.   That's it finished, all that remains to be done is to assemble your shelf, no glue needed, everything just slots together.   Well I do hope you like it.   I hope it gives you as much pleasure looking at it, as it gave me making it.

Don't forget to tune in to Create & Craft tomorrow.   See you all again soon.

                                                                Love and rainbows,

                                                                  Hugs   Jennifer xx.

'Timeless' Another MDF wall shelf for Imagination Craft's shows on Create & Craft TV. Tomorrow.

Hi there Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Wow! two fabulous days in a row lol!   how lucky are we!   Tonight I would like to share another wall shelf that I have made for  Sue and Harvey of Imagination Craft's  next shows on Create & Craft TV tomorrow the 18th April at 10am and 4pm.   Hope you can tune in, if you can't, maybe you could set to record as I think these  will be worth watching.   I am really enjoying working with these shelves as they are just gorgeous designs and can be decorated in any way you want.   Tonight's shelf is decorated in a different way to my 'HOME' shelf as you will see.   Hope you like it as much as I did  when decorating it.

Paint all the wall shelf parts using soft moss MDF paint.   Take the 'Crackle sepia' card and draw around the cat shape and cut out.   Glue some black sequined lacey material onto it.   Glue this onto the MDF cat.

Colour some white card with with the copper mica powder and fix behind the scroll work on the left of the wall shelf back.   Do not worry if the paint is a little stripey, as this adds to the look.

Take a piece of black card and lay the bayleaf stencil onto it and dab the soft moss MDF paint through the design.   When dry, glue this to the back of the frame, so the flowers are behind the cat.

Die-cut two butterflies using the Wild Rose Studio die, from black card and glue on to the top left and the other to the top right.

Die-cut the flowers from white card,  using the Tim Holtz dies and paint them with the Imagination Craft's  copper mica powder and water, making them stripey.

Add a dazzler to the centre of each flower and glue in position.

Cover the whole of the back  of the wall shelf with black card.

Lastly glue some of the small black sequins from the left-over  lacy  material, around the arch.

All that remains to be done, is to assemble your shelf, which is very easy to do, no glue needed, as everything just clicks into position, then find somewhere to hang it lol!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.   I will be back again tomorrow morning, before the Imagination Craft's shows,  with another  wall shelf to share with you all.   See you all then.   Please don't forget to tune in to Create & Craft TV. at 10am and 4pm tomorrow.

                                                              Love and Rainbows,

                                                            Crafty Hugs   Jennifer xx.
