'Seeds of Friendship.'

Good evening  Friends, Followers and Visitors,

Hope the weather hasn't been too bad wherever you are.   We have been lucky, no torrential rain, just an   odd spot but quite misty, dull and dreary.

Thank you for taking the time to visit and comment on my last blog post.   I appreciate each and every one.   Tonight I have a card I made  in April 2018     This was made using a set of stamps   which were given free with a craft magazine....sorry cannot remember which one lol!

        
Using the small sunflower stamp from the set, plus a black inkpad, stamp  half sunflowers  around the outside edges of  a 7" x 7" ivory case card.

Die cut a large label from dark brown card, using the Spellbinders grand label die set and matt onto the centre of the base card.

Die cut a slightly smaller label  from white linen card and colour with spray inks of your choice.

Using the black inkpad, stamp the large sunflower on the right-hand side of the label.   Colour the sunflower with Promarker alcohol pens.   Glue the label to the brown label.

Stamp the large flower head twice, the front leaf twice and the back leaf once, colour these and cut out.   3D these to the original image using silicone glue.

Stamp the flowerpot, colour, shape and  cut it out.   Fix this to the bottom of the flower stem, using silicone glue.

      
Stamp some flower seeds  beside the flowerpot using a black inkpad.   Stamp the seed packet and sentiments onto some cream card, using a black inkpad.   Stamp the centre of the seed packet, colour and cut it out.   Glue this to the seed packet front.

    
Glue the seed packet to the coloured label, leaving one of the leaves from the large sunflower, on top of the seed packet.  

   
Add some dots of Topaz Starlight paint to the flower centres.    Stamp  the small sunflower  twice and 3d onto the centre of the seed packet, using silicone glue.

Santa's Sack.

Hi there Lovelies,

Hope this post finds you  all well, sending kind thoughts if you are not feeling up to the mark.   Today the weather here has been quite nice, sunny and bright with the odd dull spells.

Tonight I would like to share a Christmas card I made in August 2017 but has  never been shown,   This beautiful stamp is an Imagination Art stamp.   Hope you like what I have done with it.

       
Make a base card from a sheet of white A4 card,   trim away a half an inch from one long edge and fold in half portrait style.

Lay the 'Merry Christmas' part of the 'Season's Greetings' stencil onto the bottom front of the base card and blend some black soot distress ink through the words 'Merry Christmas,' using a piece of cut 'n' dry foam.   Remove the stencil and wash it, then lay it back in the same position , just off-setting it slightly.   Using a stencil brush, dab the gold Starlight paint through the ;Merry Christmas' again.   Remove the stencil.

  
Stamp Santa onto a spare piece of white card using a black ink pad. 

  
Blend the Mustard seed, Mowed lawn & Festive Berries distress inks around Santa, using a blending tool, keeping some areas free of colour.

  

  
Lay the 'Holly Corner'  stencil on the bottom left and dab some gold Starlight paint through the design, using the large stencil brush..

  
Matt this onto some black card, leaving a small border of the black showing, then matt this onto the white base card.

'Quiet Moments.'

Hello Friends, Followers and Visitors,

A very happy Sunday to  you all, hope you are enjoying your day.   We had a much better start to the day this morning, quite a few sunny spells and no rain!    the odd dark cloud passed by but dropped no rain!  quite breezy but we're not complaining lol!

Today I have a card to share with you which I made for one of Imagination Craft's shows on the Hochanda T.V.  last April and I never put it on my blog at that time, so here it is.   One of the colours of Sparkle Medium we were asked to use, was bright copper, so I decided to use that for the fairy.

    
Cut a six and a half inch square of white card and colour it with the green and  navy blue Fashion Spray Inks and the yellow Mixed Media Ink.
Using the Art stamp from the 'Reflections' stamp set and the mowed lawn distress ink pad,  stamp along the bottom of the coloured card to look like blades of grass.   Matt this onto a 7"x7" white base card.

Take another piece of white card and lay the Rose fairy A4 stencil onto it.   Mask off all but the fairy and her wings with masking tape.   Using a metal spatula, spread the bright copper Sparkle Medium over the fairy and her wings.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Take a piece of Magi-Cutz 'chicken wire' and colour it with the white gold Starlight paint.   Glue this to the bottom left corner of the coloured card. 

  
Fussy cut the fairy and her wings and glue in position, sitting on the chicken wire, using Magi-bond glue.

    
Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of white card, using a black inkpad.   Trim around the sentiment and punch each corner with a corner rounder punch.   Fix this to the right of the fairy image using silicone glue.

   
Next, lay the butterfly from the stencil onto some white card and using a stencil brush, white gold and pink sunset Starlight paints, stipple over the butterfly.   Remove the stencil  and when dry, cut out the butterfly.   Glue the butterfly to the top right of the card using silicone glue.

Add some dots of orange oxidized Starlight paint to the grass to look like small flowers.

Well my friends, that is this card finished,  hope you like it.   I adore this fairy stencil, it is called the 'Rose Fairy' A4 size but I chose to not use the rose part and sat her on the chicken wire instead.

'Friendship.'

Good evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Hope this post finds you well,  despite the dreary weather we are having at the moment lol!   It is not looking very promising for the next few days.   I keep telling myself that summer is just around the corner lol!     let's hope I'm right.   There are lots of flowers on the strawberry plants, the onions and potatoes continue to grow well.   In the greenhouse we have peas, carrots, parsnips, chilly  peppers, sweetcorn,  tomatoes, green beans, kohlrabi,  plus many more plants, all  just waiting to be put out in our veggie plot.    Enough about gardening, now to tonight's card.    I made this for a friend to give to her friend.    This card  is a very similar design to a  card I had on my blog on 13th. April 2019, which I called 'Friends are like stars.'   The difference is, I used totally different colours for this one and added some stamped images using gold Starlight paint on the background.   I also used a punch to make a pretty edge down one side.

 
Make a square base card from white linen effect card.   Matt and layer a piece of dark green card onto the base card, leaving a small border of the white showing.   Add a drop or two of the three inks onto a work surface and add a couple of sprays of water.

Take a smaller piece of plain white card and lay it face down onto the Fuchsia, green and yellow spray inks and drag the card across the inks then lift up.   Repeat this until you are happy with the results.   (One little tip, if you do this too often, the colours will mix too much,  giving a dull muddy colour.)     Leave this to air dry.   (You can use a heat gun but I prefer to air dry it).

Using a black inkpad, stamp the sentiment in the centre of the now coloured card.

   
Put a small amount of the  Rich Gold Starlight Paint onto your work surface and pick some of it up on a piece of cut 'n' dry foam, then dab onto the 'crackle' stamp from the Art stamps distress set, then stamp this four times around the sentiment.

 
Using a spare piece of white linen card, lay the stars stencil onto it, then dab the Rich Gold,  Emerald  and Dried Rose Starlight paints through the different sized stars on the stencil, using s stencil brush.

 
When dry, cut out each star and glue them to the card front using silicone glue to give some dimension to the card..

Using the Martha Stewart punch, punch down the right-hand edge and matt this onto the white base card.

 
Glue an emerald green satin ribbon bow to the bottom right corner and the card is finished.    Hope you like it.
