Sunset Stag.

Hi there Lovelies,

How are you all, well I hope.   So sorry for not posting on here for a while, just life has been quite busy of late.

Today I would like to share a sneaky peek at a card I have made for Sue Baker's  launch of the fabulous 'Snow Queen Collection.'    A stunning collection, gorgeous designs, right up my street lol!   could have gone on forever producing cards with them, ideas popping into my head all the time lol!   The launch show will be on Create & Craft today (22nd. July 2019) at 2pm. until 4pm. and then again at 9pm.   The time for tomorrow's show  will be at 1pm.   I do hope you can tune in or record the shows.   OK. now to my sneaky peek lol!

Matt and layer a square of blue card onto the 7" x 7" white base card, leaving a quarter inch border of the white showing.

Cut a smaller square of white card and paint with the white, Mulberry purple and the lavender blue fabric paints, watered down and brush across the card for the sky.

Using the silver embossing pad, stamp the 'dangles' in the top right corner and the butterflies near the centre and to the right, (leaving enough room for the stag) and heat emboss with the Starry Night embossing powder.

Stamp the 'dangles' again onto white card and cut out the top part only and glue these to the original image.

Stamp the word 'ICE' in the top centre using the silver embossing pad and heat emboss with the purple embossing powder.   Matt this onto the base card.

Tear a piece of white card into 3 strips,  the torn edge will be the snow but leave the other three edges straight.   These will look like snow drifts.   Add glue to the top edges of the three snow drifts and sprinkle some cracked ice or glitter onto the glue.   Gently press with your fingers then shake off any excess sparkle.

Glue the snow drifts to the bottom of the card.

Stamp the stag onto onto a piece of blue card, using the silver pad and heat emboss with the purple embossing powder.   Trim around the stag and glue his legs which are in the distance, behind the first  snow drift.   Add silicone glue behind the stag.

Glue three clear diamond gems to the top left, then a white ribbon bow to the top of the 'dangles.'

Well that's this card finished, I do hope you like it as much as I had making it.   Catch you all again soon.   Take care of yourselves.

                                                                   Love and rainbows,

                                                                    Hugs   Jennifer xx.

Wonders of the Deep.

Good afternoon Friends, Followers & Visitors,

Hope everyone is well and are having a good start to the weekend.   Sounds like the weather will be reasonable for most of us, so maybe some gardening is on the cards lol!   Speaking of cards, I have one to share with you today which I made in February 2018 and has never been seen until now.   I have used Imagination Craft's beautiful stencil of the seahorse and  Sparkle Mediums and Distress Inks.      Hope you like it.

I used a 7" x 7" white base card on which to work.   Matt a slightly smaller square of maroon coloured card onto the base card.

Take a smaller square of white card and colour with Tumbled glass, Peacock feathers, Dried marigold, Squeezed lemonade, Dusty concord & Ripe persimmon Distress inks.    I dabbed the distress ink pads onto my work surface and spritzed with water.   I then dabbed the card into the wet inks, keeping the centre of the card yellow, then left it to dry.

When dry, lay the seahorse stencil onto the coloured card and secure to the work surface with masking tape so the stencil doesn't move when working.

Spread the Sparkle Mediums over the design using a metal spatula.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Matt this onto a slightly larger piece of white card and then, onto the base card.    Well that's this card finished, quite a quick card to make.   That's all from me for the moment.   Take care of yourselves and have a wonderful chilled out weekend.   See you all again soon.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,

                                                                    Hugs   Jennifer xx.
