'Courage'

Good evening  all,

Hope everyone is well, despite this dull, damp weather.   I suppose we mustn't complain, as the weather could be much worse at this time of the year.   I just keep thinking, Spring is just around the corner lol.

Thank you all for your recent comments and visits to my last blog, really appreciate them.   Tonight I would like to share a card I made for Sue's shows on the Create & Craft T.V. Channel which were shown a week or so ago,  when she launched the lovely Modernista Collection.

This is quite a quick card to make so let's get started shall we?

Take a six and a quarter inch square of white card and using the fabric decoupage glue,  glue the section of the rice paper with the mandala design on it, onto the square of white card.   Trim away any excess rice paper.   then add a thin layer of the white Gesso onto it to knock it back slightly.

Lay the diamond image from the A4 stencil onto the left of the now coloured card and spread the Silver Sparkle & Twinkle over it, using a metal spatula.    I masked off part of the stencil to stop accidentally spreading the Sparkle & Twinkle where I did'nt want it.

Repeat this on the top right-hand side, remove  the stencil and leave the images to dry.

Using the white pearls, add dots around the mandala design and leave to dry.

Matt this onto a slightly larger square of wine red card and then onto the 7" x 7" white base card.

Die-cut the heart and the word 'courage' twice from white card, using the dies  from the collection and glue one  on top of the other  so they stand out more, then glue the heart to the centre of the design and the word across the bottom right corner.

Well lovelies that's this card finished.     Take care of yourselves, have a good week and I will be back again soon.

                                                                Love and Rainbows,

'Spread a Little Sunshine.'

Good evening Lovelies,

Hope you all had a good weekend.   Thank you as always, for your visits and comments on my last blog post.   I would like to bring a little sunshine into your lives with a card I have made for the Sue Baker shows, tomorrow (Tuesday) at 8am. and 5pm.  on the Create & Craft T.V. Channel   I have used products from the 'Modernista Collection' by Sue Baker and  mixed media spray inks  by Cadence.

Take a piece of black card, cut it slightly smaller than the white 7" x 7" base card.   Stamp the text in the top left and the bottom right corners using a Versamark pad.   Heat emboss with gold embossing powder.   Fix this to the white base card.

Stamp the sentiment onto a spare piece of white card using a black inkpad.   Next stamp the 'random circles', keeping the sentiment in the centre of the circles.   Trim around the circles and fix this in
position in the top right corner.

Stamp the sunflower six times using a black ink pad onto some white card.

Paint them with the sunshine yellow, brown and green mixed media spray inks, water and paintbrush.   When dry, cut them out and 3D them, using silicone glue.

Arrange on the front of the base card and when you are satisfied with the positioning, glue them in place.

Well that's all from me for the moment.   Please don't forget to tune in to Create & Craft on 21st. Jan. 2020 at 8am. & 5pm. to see this fabulous new collection of stamps, dies, stencils and rice papers, plus many more fabulous Cadence products.   I'll be back again soon, enjoy your week.

                                                                   Love and Rainbows,

                                                                   Hugs   Jennifer xx.

'Share Your Smile.'

 Hi there Lovelies,

Wishing you all a Very Healthy, Happy and Prosperous 2020.   Hope you enjoyed your festive season.   Thank you for visiting my last blog post, much appreciated.   Today I would like to share a card I made for the the Sue Baker Presents shows on the Create & Craft T.V. Channel, I think it was August 2019.   This was made using the beautiful  'Birds & Blossoms' Collection.   I thought I would make the background using some brown kraft card, just for a change and I was quite pleased with the way it turned out, hope you like it too.

Cut out a square five and three quarter inches  from an A4 piece of brown kraft card. and stamp  the' bird on the circle' in the top left, using a black inkpad.     Stamp the hanging 'Love' in the top right corner, the 'Share your smile' sentiment in the bottom right and finally, the word 'Smile' inside the circle.   Matt the kraft card onto a slightly larger piece of black card.

Using some white card and a black inkpad, stamp the single bird stamp 3 times.   Cut out and 3D these, then glue to the original stamped image on the kraft card, using silicone glue.

Stamp the 2 flowers using a Versamark pad onto black card and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.   Colour the flowers with the Blue Rose metallic paint, (this shows up as blue on the black card).   Paint the leaf with the Green Blue  paint.   Glue the flowers to the original images.

Colour a small piece of black card with the Green Blue paint and when dry, stamp the 2 leaves to the right of the flower onto it using  a Versamark pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.

Cut out the 2 leaves and glue in position over the original stamped images.

Add some dots around the circle using a white pen.   Colour the bow, hearts, butterflies and  3 small flowers also, with the white pen.

Glue 3 white glitter domes just above the sentiment.   Matt the card onto a 7" x 7" white base card.   The card is now finished.

Thanks again for taking the time to stop and visit my blog.  Have a good week and I'll be back quite soon, now I'm back into routine lol!   Take good care of yourselves.

                                                                 Love & Rainbows,

                                                                 Hugs   Jennifer xx.
