'Nature's Creations.'

Hello Everyone,

What a lovely few days we have had recently.   So lovely to see the sun once again,  really made me think that Spring  had arrived, then I saw the weather forecast and they are talking of wintry showers over the coming weekend!!!   ah well, I should of known Winter hadn't finished with us yet lol!

Hope you are all well and avoiding this dreadful virus.   Tonight I would like to share a card I made for one of the  Imagination Craft's shows  on Create & Craft T.V.  a while back which, I unfortunately did not get finished to post it to Sue in time for the show.   This was made using the very beautiful 'Secret Garden Collection' of stamps, stencils, dies, Cadence paints, inks etc., and rice papers.

Take a piece of black card five and three quarter inches square and lay the  A4 stencil onto it and stipple the Cadence Dora brilliant gold paint through the stonework design, adding touches of the darker Antique Gold  metallic paint using a large stencil brush, to add shading to the stones.   Stipple in between the stone work too.

When dry, matt this onto a slightly larger square of red card, then matt onto a 7" x 7" white base card.

Die-cut a  four and a half inch. diameter circle from white card.    Using a black ink pad, stamp the words  'Nature's Creations' to the right-hand side of the circle.

Fix the circle  to the centre of the base card.

Die-cut the poppies from white card 4 times,  using the die from the collection.

Die-cut 4 locks from black card and rub over the surface of the locks with some Cadence white gold finger wax.

Paint the poppies with watered down sunshine and fuchsia spray inks.   Paint the leaves with clover green acrylic paint.

When the poppies are dry, stamp the poppy stamp on top of the painted die-cuts, using a black ink pad.

3D the poppies using silicone glue.

Glue the poppies to the left side of the white circle.

Die-cut the small dragonfly and paint with the Cadence aqua gold twin magic paint.   Add a quick spray of  Gold Gilt Spray.    Add some markings on the wings and colour the body with a black pen.  Glue this to the  top right of the circle.

Add a couple of sticky foam squares to each of the locks.

Fix one in each corner of the card.

The photograph below  was taken at an angle, which shows the dimension of the poppies and also, the beautiful sheen of the gold paint.

Before I sign off, I just wanted to say a big 'thank you' for your visits and comments on my last blog, I really do appreciate each and every one.   Look after yourselves.   Stay safe and well,  take care everyone.    Catch you all again soon.

                                                                    Love and rainbows,

                                                                    Hugs   Jennifer xx.
