Dusk Til Dawn.

Good Sunday evening all,

Hope you've all had a nice weekend, despite the weather, whatever you were doing.   We lost our electricity for a couple of hours last night.  It was very wet and windy but thanks to the electricity board workmen who braved the horrible weather,  we were soon  re- connected  again.   My heart goes out to all those people who are flooded out as well as having no electricity !!   It must be absolutely devastating.    We are so very lucky where we are.   Well onto tonight's card which was on the Create and Craft show with Sue from Imagination Crafts  on Thursday 6th February 2014.   This is a very simple and quick card to make but you get an immediate,  wow!  effect as soon as you remove the stencil.

Make a base card and onto this matt some black shiny card.   Next matt a slightly smaller piece of silver satin card onto the black.

Take the the bubble lilac card and  lay  the dusk til dawn stencil onto it and secure it to the card with low tack tape, to hold the stencil in place , whilst spreading the sparkle medium.

Spread the black stars sparkle medium over the stencil with the spatula,   remove the excess medium  and return to the pot, waste not want not lol !!    ( sparkle medium is very economical, you really do not need very much.)    Remove  the tape and the stencil       Leave to dry.     When dry,  lay the stencil  back onto the card and spread a little of the silver sparkle medium onto the places where the moonlight would shine.

Remove the stencil and leave to dry.   When dry, trim the card to fit onto the silver card, leaving larger borders of silver showing at the top and bottom, than at the sides.    Well that's it folks.   Hope you like it.   Thank you so much for visiting my blog,  if you've just begun making cards, I hope you gain some inspiration from my blog and if you are a seasoned card maker,  just enjoy seeing  someone else's  endeavours.

Until my next blog, take good care of yourselves and have a good week.

                                                                Love and Rainbows,

                                                                   Hugs  Jennifer xx
