Dragonflies and Goldfish.

Good evening Followers, Friends and Fellow Bloggers,

Hope you are all having a good weekend.  Tonight I would like to share two cards with you which I made for Imagination Crafts   in 2013.   Both cards use the lovely lilypad stamp set.   The second card I shared with you in Oct. 2013, so for those of you who have not seen this card, I thought I would show it again.   These cards and the card in my last post all use the same stamp set but show how different the cards can look by changing the colours, using different stamps from the same set and different embellishments.    Ok off we go then !

Make a base card from white card stock.   Matt some black shiny card onto the white, (leaving no white border showing) then some gold card onto the black,  leaving a small border showing.   Take a piece of white card slightly smaller than the gold and colour the edges with the pink and green distress inks.   Matt this onto the gold card,  onto this matt some black card leaving a  border of the coloured card showing.

Take a further piece of white card slightly smaller than the black and colour it with the distress inks.   Using a black ink pad, stamp the fish around all four edges of the card.   Stamp another four fish onto a spare piece of white card and colour with the pink distress ink and mica powders.

Fix one fish in each corner of the card using silicone glue.   Fix this card to the base card.   Punch out a strip from black card using the Infinite loops  trim, Martha Stewart punch and fix this across the centre of the card.

Stamp the main image onto white card with a Versamark pad and heat emboss using black embossing powder.

Colour the border background with pink distress ink and paint the rest of the image with the ' brilliant'  mica powder set .   Cut out the inside of the border leaving the dragonflies and the lilypad in place.   Fix some gold card behind the lilypad and glue the image on top of the black loops across the centre of the base card.   Stamp the image twice more, paint, cut out and 3D onto the original image.

Well that is that card finished. Hope you like it.   Now for my previous card using the same stamp set.    For this card I decided to stick to different shades of blue with a little gold embossing powder thrown in for good measure lol.

Should you wish to see how I made it and which Imagination Craft;s products I used, please scroll back to my older post of October 2013.   Many thanks once again for taking the time to visit my blog and I hope you feel it was worth it.   Take care of yourselves until my next post which will be my project for the Imagination Craft's Challenge Blog on the 1st of April at 8am sharp, providing my scheduling works lol!  so far it has but there's always a first time for everything !   Hope I'm not tempting providence saying this !  so see you all on the 1st. April.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                                   Hugs   Jennifer xx
