In the Pink. My Inspiration Project for the Imagination Craft's Challenge Blog.

Good morning  Lovelies,

Here we are again at the beginning of yet another month,  which means it's time for my inspiration  project for the Imagination Craft's Challenge Blog.    The theme this month is 'Anything Goes'  so  I would like to share it with you and I hope it gives you some inspiration for your card making.

If you would like to join us in this challenge and you have some Imagination Craft's products, why not give it a go.   There is a prize of £40 to spend at Imagination Crafts.    I would like to mention that only entries using  Imagination Craft's products will go on to the prize draw (although non Imagination Craft  makes  can get top 3  spots and a lovely badge for your blog).    Ok then let's get started shall we.

Make a base card from maroon coloured card stock.   Take a piece of grey paper cut slightly smaller than the maroon card and put through an embossing machine, along with the 'flourishes' stencil to emboss it.

Fix the grey embossed paper to the base card.   Cut a piece of acetate to the same size as the grey paper and lay the 'flourishes' stencil onto it and spread the black stars sparkle medium over it with the metal spatula.   (I used the acetate from an old Christmas card box)   waste not want not !   yes lol!  I'm afraid I didn't make all my Christmas cards last year lol!   Shame on me!    Must get an earlier start this year.

Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.   When dry glue the acetate to the grey paper on the base card, where you think the glue will not show.   Die-cut a corner from white card and glue to the bottom left corner.

Glue a pink bow to the top left corner.

Using white card, stamp the daisy five times, using a Versmark pad and heat emboss with black embossing powder.   Paint the larger and smaller flowers with a well diluted red satin silky.   When dry, cut out the flowers and 3D them using silicone glue.   Glue  them to the right-hand side of the acetate.

Thanks for popping by and if you have left a comment I would just like to say 'thank you,'   I do love to hear what you think of my projects.   A big 'thank you' to all my lovely followers,  I do appreciate your interest and your support.   If you would like more inspiration, please pop across to the Imagination Craft's Challenge Blog, where  the design team ladies have been very busy and have created some beautiful projects for you.

Well that's all from me for now.   Have a good week.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                                   Hugs   Jennifer xx

    1. Evening Jane, thanks for your kind words, I used the same stencil for the embossing and the sparkle medium but turned the stencil round clockwise when I did the sparkle medium, so the embossing could be seen below the sparkle. Thanks again Jane,
