Butterfly Dream.

Good morning Peeps,

An early post from me today, makes a change from my usual midnight posts lol!   Today the weather seems to be getting brighter by the hour so, hopefully we may see some that elusive sunshine lol!  hear's hoping.  Just hate these dark days before Christmas.

I would like to welcome my two latest followers to my blog, Anja and Tracey, thank you so much for following and I do hope you enjoy your visits.   Ok.  onto today's card.   This was made for my good friends Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts  in April of this year.    I have used the same technique as I did for my dragonfly card which I posted just recently.   Hope you like it.    Right, off we go then, let's get started!

Make a base card from navy card stock.   Onto this matt a slightly smaller piece of white card.   Take another piece of white card, again slightly smaller than the white matt, then colour with the Silkies using a brayer.   Using some cut n' dry foam, dab small amounts of the Glitzie across the surface of the card, which leaves a very pretty, subtle amount of coloured glitter on your coloured background.   Put this through an embossing machine, along with the Vine Trellis Stencil and emboss.

Lay the Nellie Snellen circle die with the cutting slits in it,  onto your now coloured, embossed card and put through the die-cutting machine.   Die cut 14 of the flower edges using the die which teams up with the circle die by Nellie Snellen, using white card.   Fix each flower into the slits around the circle and secure on the back of the card.   Fix this card to the base card.

Cut out a white circle to fit inside the circle of flowers and glue in position,

Die-cut a smaller circle from white card and colour with the Chalkies.   Stamp the main image in black ink, onto the now coloured circle, making sure that most of the butterflies are on the circle.  (it does not matter if part of the wings of the butterflies are not on the circle, as we will be decoupaging a whole butterfly on the circle a little later).   Glue this circle to the white circle on the base card.   Stamp the main image twice more using a Versamark pad and heat emboss using silver embossing powder.

Colour the butterflies with the Silkies and cut out.   Glue one large and one small butterfly, flat down onto the  original image.    Next glue one  large and one small butterfly on top of the flat image using silicone glue to give some dimension  to your card.

Glue the stem of silver beads to the top right of the circle and add a purple ribbon bow on top.

Well that's all from me for now,   see you all again soon.   In the meantime,  have fun and happy crafting.

                                                                Love and Rainbows,

                                                                 Hugs    Jennifer xx
