Pretty Pansies

Hi there Peeps,

Hope you have all had a fabulous Christmas day, full of love joy and fun.  We are now chilling out watching   a film with a glass of wine (or two lol!)    Still feeling full fit to burst after our Christmas lunch,  no room for Christmas cake and mince pies lol!!   They will,  I've no doubt, get eaten in the next few days.

Tonight I have another card to share with you which I made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Craft's  in December 2011.   For this card I have used their very pretty Spring Decoupage Stamp Set - Pansies.   Ok off we go then, let's get going lol!

Cut out a base card from cream card using a Spellbinder's Grand Nestie and a die-cutting machine.   Colour around the edges of the cream card using a blending tool and distress inks - peeled paint and shabby shutters.   Next stamp the leaf stamp from the set, around the edges using a black ink pad.

Cut out another smaller nestie from yellow patterned paper (We R Memory Keepers)  and then, using the same nestie die,  draw around the outside edge of the die onto a piece of black paper and cut it out.   Matt the yellow paper onto the black.   Cut out a smaller nestie from the lilac spotted paper, using the die and die-cutting machine.   Matt this onto the yellow paper.   Wrap some lilac ribbon across the centre from left to right and secure on the back with double sided sticky tape.   Matt this onto the base card.

Stamp the main pansy stamp seven times using a black ink pad onto some white card.   Colour them all with Promarker pens.   Trim around the edges of the first image.   Fix to some black paper and trim, leaving a tiny border of black showing.

Cut the other six images using a die-cutting machine and a set of square nesties, each one getting progressively  smaller, until you end up with a tiny square on the top of the image.   3D all these images on top of each other  to make a pyremage, using sticky foam pads or silicone glue, whichever you prefer.

Fix this to the centre of the base card and add a ribbon bow to the left and right of the base card.   Well that's it my friends, hope you like this one.   Enjoy the rest of the festive season.   Stay snug and warm as snow is forecast for many areas tomorrow.   We may just be lucky and miss it.   Have fun until my next blog post.

Wishing you all A Very Merry Christmas and A Happy, Healthy 2015.   See you soon.

                                                                   Love and Rainbows,

                                                                      Hugs Jennifer  xx.
