I do hope you've all enjoyed your weekend, I have had a fairly quiet, relaxed weekend. Tonight's card was made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts for their latest show on Create and Craft TV earlier this month. For this card I have used their very pretty 'butterfly garden' stamp set and 'trellis' stencil, stencil paints and sage green sparkle medium.
Make a white base card. Take a slightly smaller piece of white card and colour it, using the meadow green and white stencil paints. Leave to dry. Next, lay the trellis stencil on top and spread the sage green sparkle medium over the stencil using a spatula. When dry, matt onto the base card.
Die-cut four corners from gold mirri card using the Tattered Lace die and glue one in each corner. Die-cut a scalloped square, again from gold mirri card. Trim the negative and glue to the card front in a diamond shape. Next glue the die-cut square onto the diamond with magi-bond glue.
Stamp the text using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder, onto white card. Mask off the text with a post it note and lay the trellis stencil on top and spread the sparkle medium over the piece of white card. Remove the stencil and mask and leave to dry.
Die-cut a smaller scalloped square from the stamped white card and glue onto the gold square. Glue a gold heart onto this.
Stamp one large and one small butterfly onto white card using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder. Cut out and glue to the scalloped square with silicone glue.
Paint the bodies and dots on the wings with the meadow green stencil paint and add small amounts of the sage green sparkle medium on top of the paint.
Hope you like it, a little piece of spring to brighten these dull days. Take care of yourselves and I'll see you all soon. Thanks for visiting my blog, hope you enjoyed your visit and I hope you will pop back soon.
Love and Rainbows,
Hugs Jennifer xx.
