Another 'Sneaky Peek' at my Tearoom Chalkboard for Imagination Craft's.

 Good evening Peeps,

Another glorious day, warm and sunny.   I got myself out in the garden this afternoon and did some weeding, not my most favourite gardening job but it has to be done !    Tonight I'd like to share another chalkboard with you.   This is one of the larger chalkboards.   I decided to make this one a tearoom board as we used to have a traditional country tearoom, all home baking a few years ago.   We made some lovely friends.   Many still keep in touch and two visit us about four times a year.  One lady comes, rings our doorbell and presents me with a bunch of flowers !  how nice is that !   shes says it's for all the happy memories she and her family had  when visiting us, so nice of her.  We really appreciate that.   Well onto tonight's chalkboard.

Paint the back, front and base with Limestone MDF paint.   Roll the 'crackle' Rollagraph roller stamp around the edges of the board, using walnut stain distress ink, then blend black soot distress ink around the outer edges.   Using the ' palm'  roller stamp and the green ink cartridge, roll the stamp around the edges, on top of the crackle image.

When dry lay the large stencil onto the front of the chalkboard and spread the gold shine Sparkle Medium over the design, using the metal spatula.   Remove the stencil and leave to dry.    Add some gold shine Sparkle Medium to the scrolls at the top.   Stick the adhesive blackboard to the centre of the board.   Cover a piece of card with the gold shine Sparkle Medium and when dry, die - cut the butterfly using the Marianne Design die and glue to the top left of the board.   Glue a rose to the centre of the butterfly.

Colour some white card with old linen distress ink and run the crackle roller stamp over it using walnut stain distress ink.   When dry lay the word MENU from the stencil onto it and draw around the letters with a pencil then cut out the letters.   Glue them to the top left of the blackboard.

Stamp  the cup and saucer which is an Impressions Obsessions stamp, onto some white card, using a black ink pad.   Colour using Imagination Craft's   'Vintage' pearly paint palette.   Distress it with a little old linen distress ink.   Cut out and 3D the cup and biscuits, then  glue to the top right of the board.

As I do not have a teapot stamp, I drew my own teapot and decorated it in a similar way, cut it out and glued it above the cup as though tea was being poured into the cup.

Using the Hero Arts stamp set, stamp out the words, ie.,  delicious, yum! ' seize the cupcake'  using a black ink pad and colour the background with old linen distress ink.   Glue these to the board.

Glue a white feather to the bottom of the blackboard.     Stamp the Hampton Art Lady stamp onto some white card using a black ink pad and colour using the same colours as you did for the cup and saucer, from the 'vintage' pearly paint palette.  Cut out and glue on top of the white feather.

Stamp, the cakes using the Hero Arts cup cake stamps twice and colour with the same colours from the 'Vintage paint palette.   3D the cakes using silicone glue and glue to the bottom right of the board.

Colour the base in the same way as the board, except  use the 'Zephyr' Rollagraph roller stamp and black ink.    Lay part of the large stencil onto it and spread the gold Sparkle Medium over the design.   Remove stencil and leave to dry.

Last but not least lol   glue  half  a paper doiley onto the base, below the cup cakes.   Well that's it finished, phew!  so....many steps lol! but  I got there.   Hope you like it.   Please don't forget to tune in to Create & Craft T.V. at 8am on Friday 12th. June,  to see our lovely Sue from Imagination Crafts
demonstrating some fabulous new products along with the chalkboards.     I'll be be back tomorrow night with another chalkboard .   Until then, stay safe, be happy  and enjoy this beautiful sunshine.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,
