'Love Birds.'

Hello there Lovelies,

Hope your week is going well so far,   I have managed quite a bit of crafting time over the last few days.  I'm working on some samples for Sue from Imagination Craft's  next show on Create and Craft on June 12th.   Grandson is back at school after the half term holiday, so I manage an hour or so crafting time  after lunch.   Tonight I have a card for you which I made for their last C&C TV. show, which was shown on 21st. May.

Begin by making a base card from white card stock,  four and a quarter by eight and a quarter inches when folded.   Matt a piece of bright pink paper onto  the  front leaving a half inch border of white showing.   Matt a smaller piece of navy card onto the pink,  leaving a border of the pink showing.

Take a piece of white card and trim, using  a trimmer and the scalloped blade,  to two and three quarter inches by six and a half inches.   Colour this card with the distress inks - picked raspberry, chipped sapphire and evergreen bough.

Lay the 'birds in a cage' stencil onto the coloured card and dab the chipped sapphire distress ink through the design on the stencil, using a piece of cut n' dry foam.   Glue this to the base card.

Punch out five tiny hearts from the spare pink paper and glue in position.   Die cut two ivy leaves from pink paper, using the Marianne Design die.   Glue these to the top right and bottom left corners.

Die-cut the flower from navy card, using the Spellbinder's die and add a die-cut pink centre, then finish by adding a pink gem to the centre of the flower.   Glue three pink gems to the top left and bottom right of the card.

Well that's it finished my friends, hope you like it and thank you for all your lovely comments, it is so nice to get some feedback.   Enjoy the rest of your week.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                                   Hugs   Jennifer xx.
