My Sneaky Peek 'Love Chalkboard for Imagination Crafts.

Good morning all,

Looks like another beautiful day.   This morning I'd like to share another of my chalkboards that I have made for Imagination Craft's T.V. show on Create & Craft tomorrow morning.

Paint all the MDF parts with the white  Gesso.   Next add a layer of Crackle  Medium.   Then a layer of Soft Moss MDF Paint.

Lay the stencil onto the dry board and spread the silver and hunter green Sparkle Mediums through the design.   Leave this to dry.

Peel the backing from the top of the black sticky backed blackboard oblong,  making sure the top edge is straight and in the centre of the board, gently peel the backing down and press the oblong onto your board.

Paint the L O V E letters with white Gesso and when dry cover with silver Sparkle Medium.   Add some hunter green Sparkle Medium to the edges of the letters and glue them to the top of the board.

Add a silver ribbon to the top of the board.   Die-cut the heart border  from white card and glue to the bottom of the black oblong.

Stamp the 'love' sentiment onto a piece of black card using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with white embossing powder.   Matt this onto a piece of white card, then glue to the bottom right of the board.

Die-cut the flower, stamp with swirls from the heart stamp using a black ink pad, colour the petal edges with moss green MDF paint.   Glue this to the top right of the 'love' sentiment.

Colour the edges of the board with brown and black distress inks.   Cover the two MDF hearts with Versamark and heat emboss with white embossing powder.   Do this twice, then on the 3rd. heating and whilst the embossing powder is still hot, press the swirly heart stamp onto a black ink pad and then stamp it into the hot embossing powder.   Glue the hearts to the left-hand side of the board and add two pieces of silver ribbon behind them.

Colour the base with white Gesso, then the Crackle Medium and then with soft moss MDF paint, as you did for the board.   When dry, rub walnut stain and black soot distress inks along each edges.   Run the Victorian Heart roller stamp along each edge of the slot in the base, using a black Memento ink pad.

Well that's it finished folks, hope you like it.   I'll be back soon with another chalkboard for you.   Have a lovely day and enjoy the sunshine.

                                                              Love and rainbows,

                                                                Hugs   Jennifer xx.
