Painted Beauty.

Good evening my Friends, hope you've all had a lovely Sunday.  The weather today has been quite warm and  sunny.   Thank goodness the wind has gone, there were some really strong gusts yesterday!  Did a little crafting today but had one of those days when nothing seemed to go right lol,   more went in the waste bin than was finished lol!  never mind, I did manage to finish one card which I was quietly pleased with.

I just thought I'd slip in an extra post tonight for you.    The stamp set I have used,  I have had for a year or two and have never got around to using it.   It is an Elusive Images stamp set called 'patchwork butterfly.

Make a base card from cream linen card stock.   Using a black ink pad and the 'fronds' stamp from the set, stamp the image around all four edges of the base card.

Die-cut the large hexagon from red card stock, then die-cut a smaller hexagon from Imagination Craft's gold satin card and matt onto the red.   Die-cut a further hexagon from black card, then matt onto the gold.   Die-cut the next size down, from cream linen card and using a black ink pad, stamp the butterfly onto it.  Do not worry that part of the wings are not on the hexagon, as you will be decoupaging a fully stamped butterfly onto this image.

Stamp the butterfly three times onto cream linen card and colour with Promarker pens.   Cut out and 3D onto the original stamped image, using silicone glue.   When the glue has set, matt the butterfly hexagon onto the black hexagon.

The card is now finished, I do hope you like it.   Hope you all have a good week, take care of yourselves and be happy.    Many thanks for stopping by my blog, hope you've enjoyed your visit.   I will be back in a day or so.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,

                                                               Crafty hugs,   Jennifer xx.
