My Friend Hanging Wall Plaque.

Hi there fellow Bloggers, Friends and Visitors,

I take it you are all looking forward to the weekend, I know I am lol!  I aim to be in my craft room as much as I possibly can.    I have been in the garden quite a lot recently, so it is now time for some crafting lol!   craft and music, what more could a crafter wish for !   well maybe a few more stamps and a few dies lol!!!
Tonight I have chosen to share an MDF hanging  wall plaque with you.   This was made in May 2014 for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts.   It was made for a Create & Craft show at that time.

Paint the front and back of the MDF charm kit with the white MDF paint.   Lay the lacy swirls stencil on the front board with the aperture in it and spread some relief paste through the stencil, using the metal spatula.   Remove stencil and leave the image to dry.

When dry, colour with the  satin red, emerald gold, purple lace and gold brocade Silkies, using a piece of cut n' dry foam.

Glue a black, die - cut border down the left side of the  aperture, gluing on the back of the front board.   Glue a ribbon hanger to the back of the board also.   Paint the inside of the back board with white MDF paint, so it is seen through the aperture.     Glue the back board to the front board using Magi-bond glue.

Paint the tags  from the kit with the white MDF paint  and colour with the Silkies around the edges.   Stamp 'cherish' etc.. onto each one, using a black ink pad.

Add gold brads to the holes and glue the tags to the board front.

Punch out the flowers and put them through an embossing machine, along with the Lacy swirls stencil.   Glue to the right hand side of the aperture.    Punch out the cornflower using black card and fix to the flower centre and add a small gold circle to the centre of the cornflower.     That's the plaque finished.   All that remains to be done is to hang it on a wall, or give it to your friend as a gift to say 'thank you for being my friend.'

Have a wonderful weekend my friends and I will catch you all again in a couple of days.   Many thanks for stopping by my blog.

                                                             Love and rainbows,

Happy crafting, love and hugs   Jennifer xx.
