Secret Garden Alliums.

Good Morning Peeps,

I know lol!  I don't usually blog in the mornings, well I could correct that !  as I do, in the very early morning lol,     like midnight or 1am lol!!  what am I like !!   Well I have broken tradition today.

Good morning all,  weather not quite so good as it has been of late.   I think we are not far from a ground frost in the mornings  up here in the hills  brrrr.     I managed to do more tidying in the gardens yesterday, picked all the plums, those that haven't been pecked or eaten that is lol!   the blackbirds seem to like them, how professional growers protect their fruit from birds etc., I do not know, as you cannot put nets over a tree lol!   I may make some plum jam and maybe a plum crumble, which all the family like, especially with ice cream!   next week with our harvest .

I would like to share another card with you which I made in December 2013 for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts.    This ' Allium'  stencil is one of my favourites, so pretty.

Make a base card from lilac card stock.   Onto this, matt a piece of purple card, leaving a border of lilac card showing.   Next matt some white card onto the purple, again leaving a border of purple showing.

Take the 'secret garden' patterned card and lay the allium stencil on top and dab the 'shaded lilac' distress ink onto the flower head and the small flowers, blown off in the wind, using a piece of cut n' dry foam..   Dab the 'tea dye' distress ink over the leaves and the stem.   Whilst the ink is still wet, sprinkle on some clear embossing powder, shake off the excess  and heat emboss.    After washing the ink from the stencil, lay the stencil back onto the image but a little to one side, then spread the 'amethyst' Sparkle Medium over the flower and the 'cinnamon' over the stem and leaves.

Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.   Die-cut the flowers and leaves.   Colour the flowers with the 'shaded lilac' distress ink.   Put small dabs of 'purple velvet' Detail Sparkle  on the stamen in the centre of each flower.

Cover two pieces of leaves (die-cut, using white card and the Memory Box die) with 'cinnamon' Sparkle Medium.   Glue the flowers and leaves to the bottom left and top right of the base card.

That's all from me for today,  all that remains is for me to wish you  a peaceful, relaxing Sunday.   I will be back in a couple of days, hope you will too.   Thank you for your support and your comments.   Please feel free to leave me a comment, I do like to hear your thoughts on my creations.

                                                              Love and rainbows,

Crafty Hugs to you all,   Hugs  Jennifer xx.
