A Vintage Car Ride.

Hi there Friends, Followers and Visitors,

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend and are ready for another week.

Time for me to share another of my cards with you.  These weeks just keep on flying by lol!   It will be Christmas before we know it!   Well, I know what you're thinking - it is going to be another Christmas card, well, surprise surprise, I want to get back to  everyday cards, there will be plenty of time for Christmas cards lol!  although I do love making Christmas cards!     My card tonight was made using one of Imagination Craft's beautiful Rice papers.   I Just love this paper and this particular design.   Apart from the great image, the colours are lovely.    O.K. let's get started.

Matt a square of black shiny card onto the ivory 7"x7" base card.   Cut a smaller square of white card and glue the script rice paper onto it, using Imagination's  decoupage glue.   Colour the edges of the script with  black soot and walnut stain Distress inks.

Next,  matt this onto the black matt.   Cut out the shape which includes the people,  from the rice paper and using the decoupage glue, fix to some white card.   Trim around the shape when dry.

Fix this to the card front, by using double sided sticky tape and some Magi-bond glue to hold well in position and adding some sticky foam pads to the wrong side, so the picture is bowed in the centre.

Stamp the word 'VINTAGE' onto a piece of white card, using a black ink pad.   Colour the edges with the distress inks.   Matt this onto a piece of black card and trim around the edges, leaving a tiny border of black card showing.   Fix this to the bottom right of the card, using sticky foam pads.

Punch out three flowers using the X-Cut punch and paint them with the bright maroon Starlight paint adding a little Just Pearls - Baby blue, to the centres and glue one in the bottom right and the other two to the top left.

Colour a piece of white card with the blue Starlight paint and die-cut a flower from it, using the Sizzix flower die.   Add a touch of the bright maroon to the petals, then glue in the top left corner.   The card is now finished, a quick, easy card to make.

The above photo  was taken to show you the bow in the card shape, built up using sticky foam pads, placed down the centre of the bow.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and if you have left  me a comment, thank you again, I do appreciate your visits and comments.    Have a good week and I'll be back soon.

                                                                Love and rainbows,

                                                                 Hugs   Jennifer xx.
