'Nature's Creations.'

Hello Everyone,

What a lovely few days we have had recently.   So lovely to see the sun once again,  really made me think that Spring  had arrived, then I saw the weather forecast and they are talking of wintry showers over the coming weekend!!!   ah well, I should of known Winter hadn't finished with us yet lol!

Hope you are all well and avoiding this dreadful virus.   Tonight I would like to share a card I made for one of the  Imagination Craft's shows  on Create & Craft T.V.  a while back which, I unfortunately did not get finished to post it to Sue in time for the show.   This was made using the very beautiful 'Secret Garden Collection' of stamps, stencils, dies, Cadence paints, inks etc., and rice papers.

Take a piece of black card five and three quarter inches square and lay the  A4 stencil onto it and stipple the Cadence Dora brilliant gold paint through the stonework design, adding touches of the darker Antique Gold  metallic paint using a large stencil brush, to add shading to the stones.   Stipple in between the stone work too.

When dry, matt this onto a slightly larger square of red card, then matt onto a 7" x 7" white base card.

Die-cut a  four and a half inch. diameter circle from white card.    Using a black ink pad, stamp the words  'Nature's Creations' to the right-hand side of the circle.

Fix the circle  to the centre of the base card.

Die-cut the poppies from white card 4 times,  using the die from the collection.

Die-cut 4 locks from black card and rub over the surface of the locks with some Cadence white gold finger wax.

Paint the poppies with watered down sunshine and fuchsia spray inks.   Paint the leaves with clover green acrylic paint.

When the poppies are dry, stamp the poppy stamp on top of the painted die-cuts, using a black ink pad.

3D the poppies using silicone glue.

Glue the poppies to the left side of the white circle.

Die-cut the small dragonfly and paint with the Cadence aqua gold twin magic paint.   Add a quick spray of  Gold Gilt Spray.    Add some markings on the wings and colour the body with a black pen.  Glue this to the  top right of the circle.

Add a couple of sticky foam squares to each of the locks.

Fix one in each corner of the card.

The photograph below  was taken at an angle, which shows the dimension of the poppies and also, the beautiful sheen of the gold paint.

Before I sign off, I just wanted to say a big 'thank you' for your visits and comments on my last blog, I really do appreciate each and every one.   Look after yourselves.   Stay safe and well,  take care everyone.    Catch you all again soon.

'This Way, That Way.....Which Way ?

Good evening Lovelies,

Hope you  all had a relaxing, chilled out weekend.  Thank you for visiting  my last blog and leaving some lovely comments,  I do appreciate them and the time it takes to read and comment, thank you.   On to tonight's card.   This was made for the Imagination Craft's shows on the Create & Craft T.V. Channel last week  and was made using the same fabulous collection as my last  card - 'Journeyings,'  along with Cadence paints and finger waxes, a great combination.

Cut a square of rice paper from the  'Journeyings rice paper from the collection.   Using decoupage glue, fix this to a square of white card.

Trim away any excess white card and neaten the edges, then fix this to a 7" x 7" white base card.

Using a black ink pad, stamp the small cog from the stamp set, in each corner of the white base card.

Stamp 'your journey' at the top and bottom and the word 'memories' to the left and right edges of the white card.

Stamp the sign post three times onto some spare white card using a black ink pad.

Paint the sign posts with the blue Mixed Media Ink Spray and water, adding touches of the purple.   Cut out and stamp the 'destinations' on the signs.   3D the signs using silicone glue.   Paint the light bulb with a touch of the Cadence amber acrylic paint adding a little rich gold finger wax.

Glue this to the left-hand side of the base card.   Add some watered down gold finger wax around the outside of the light bulb and the three lanterns on the rice paper.

Stamp the motorbike once onto white card, again using a black ink pad and cut out.

Paint the motorbike with the purple Mixed Media Spray Ink and watered down rich gold finger wax.   Fix the bike to the bottom right of the base card, using silicone glue.

Hope you all have a good week.   That's all from me for the moment, I'll be back again soon.   Take care of yourselves.

                                                               Love and rainbows,

                                                               Hugs   Jennifer xx.

'Time Ship Adventure.'

Hello Lovelies,

Thank you so much for all your visits and comments on my last blog post, I do like to hear what you think of my creations and I love to visit your blogs to see your creations too.     I really appreciate  each and every visit.

I do hope you managed to tune into the Create & Craft T.V. Channel at 8.15am. this morning and at 12 noon, to see our lovely Sue and Mandy launching the fabulous new  'Journeyings' Collection , so different, love it!    These great images can be used on canvases,  model making or for card making.    I would like to share one of my cards which was shown on the Create & Craft show with you  all.    This collection consists of rice papers, A4 stencils,  stamps and dies   and when used in conjunction with the Cadence  inks and paints etc., makes a great combination.

Cut a square  6" x 6" square of your choice,  from the sheet of rice paper  (I decided to use the top right hand side of the sheet,   featuring the compass).

Lay    the rivited metal plates design from the stencil onto the rice paper and using a stencil brush, stipple the gold finger wax through the design.

Matt this rice paper onto some white card using the Cadence fabric decoupage glue and trim away any excess white card,

Matt this onto a slightly larger piece of Fuchsia coloured card and then onto a 7" x 7" white base card.

Lay the word 'TIME' from the stencil onto the top left-hand corner of the rice paper and using a stencil brush, stipple the Cadence black finger wax through the design.

Stamp the word 'VOYAGE' to the top right and 'ADVENTURE' to the bottom left, using a black ink pad.

Colour a small piece of white card with the rich gold finger wax and from this, die-cut the watch.   Stamp the watch onto a piece of white card, using a black ink pad.   Cut out the watch face and glue it onto the gold die-cut watch.

Glue this to the bottom right corner of the base card, using silicone glue.

Stamp the  'time ship'  onto some white card, then cut out using the 'time ship' die from the collection.

Paint the 'time ship' with the Cadence plum and turquoise acrylic paints and water, adding touches of the rich gold finger wax.

Fix the ship to the base card using silicone glue.

Die-cut the lamp and paint with the turquoise acrylic paint and water, adding a touch of the rich gold finger wax.

Cut a small slit in the top of the bow of the ship, then hook the lamp onto the bow adding some silicone glue under the lamp to hold it in position.

Glue the small gold circle (left over after cutting out the watch), to the  centre of the compass.

The card is now finished, I do hope you like it.   My Time Traveller  has a very flamboyant  personality, hence the bright colours lol!

Thanks ever so much for stopping by my blog, I do hope you have enjoyed your visit as much as I had,  making this card.   Take good care of yourselves until next time.

                                                              Love and rainbows,

                                                              Hugs   Jennifer xx.
