'A Touch of Gold' Thank You Card.

Hi there Lovelies, hope you're enjoying your weekend.   I thought I would share this card with you which I have made for someone, to say 'thank you.'     I hope you like it.

Begin by cutting a five and three quarter inch square from some white card and using the corner die, die- cut the top right and the bottom right corners of the white square.

Colour the corners and edges of this piece of card with the white gold  finger wax.

Next add some small drops of the liquid gold jewellery around the edges of the white card.

Using a clear embossing pad, stamp the flower twice onto some spare white card and add some gold embossing powder, remove the excess powder,  then heat emboss with a craft heat gun.   Cut out the flowers.

Colour the flowers with the mustard seed and seedless preserves distress inks using a blending tool.   Add some liquid gold jewellery drops to the flower centres.

Die-cut 2 leaves from white card and colour them with the mowed lawn distress ink.

Stamp the 'thank you' tag shape twice, once onto some white card and once onto some of the deep lavender card, using the clear embossing pad and heat emboss with the gold powder, as previously.   Cut out both tags, and the  words  Thank You' only,  from the white card and glue it onto the deep lavender tag.

Add two liquid gold dots to each side of the tag.

Now all that remains is to put the card together.   Glue the white/gold background card to the deep lavender base card.   Punch out 20 small circles from some spare deep lavender card and glue them to the white background card.   Glue the flowers, leaves and the tag to the card front and the card is finished.

Below are a few close up photos of the finished card

Well that's all from me for the moment.   Thank you so much for visiting my blog and I hope you have enjoyed your visit.    Take care of yourselves until my next blog post.   Have a good week.   Happy crafting.
