Stargazing MDF Clock.

Hi there everyone,  

I think it is time  (excuse the pun lol ! )    to show you another  MDF clock.   This was made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts  for their Create & Craft T.V. show at the beginning of January this year.   For this clock I have used my favourite die from Imagination Craft's Celtic Die Collection - 'Stargazing.'

I began by painting the back and front of the MDF clock with Chalk white MDF paint.   When dry, I painted it again with the very pretty Cornflower Chalkies paint.

   
When  dry,  I  masked  off the inner circle on the clock face stencil, using masking tape.   I then laid  the stencil onto, what would  be the front of the clock.    I  spread the golden green Sparkle Medium over the stencil using the metal spatula.

   
I removed the stencil and left the image to dry.   In the meantime, I took a piece of green card, large enough for the fabulous Stargazing die to fit onto.   Using a brayer I then brayered the diamond Sparkle Medium over the card and left it to dry.

When this was dry, I then die - cut the pixies using the stargazing die.   I glued this to the centre of the clock face, cutting out the hole in the centre for the clock pointers.

All that remained to be done was to fit the pointers and the clock mechanism which is supplied with the kit,  add a battery and hey presto ! your beautiful clock is going !  to keep you informed of the time.
