A Birds's Eye View.

Good afternoon Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Many apologies for not posting my usual blog over the last couple of days but I have not been too well, a little cold bug, the usual high temperature, headaches, aches and pains and a real chesty cough!!    Thought I had recovered yesterday so I did some housework etc., and some shopping but by the time I had the evening meal over, I faded very fast lol!      even a parcel of 'happy post' from Sue at Imagination Craft's didn't make me feel better !  and that's a first lol!!    Today, I am pleased to say,  is the first time I have felt reasonably well and like eating food again,  so without more ado and just in case I fade rapidly again lol,  here is my card share for today.     This was made for Imagination Craft's latest show on the May Bank Holiday weekend just gone.

I used a ready creased 7"x7" white card as my base card.   Using the 'broken circles' stencil, lay it onto the base card and blend the mustard seed, Tumbled glass and salty ocean Distress Inks through the design ,using a blending tool or a piece of cut n ' dry foam, until the whole of the card front is covered, as the stencil is not quite large enough to cover the whole card front, you will have to remove the stencil after doing most of the design, then replace it again for the last few circles.

Take a piece  of white card and stamp the image onto it, using the smoke blue pigment ink pad (this blue ink pad is a very subtle colour) and heat emboss with the Detail  Clear embossing  powder.

Colour over the image with the distress inks and blending tool, then gently rub off the excess ink over the embossed areas (this is known as the resist technique) meaning the ink will not adhere to the heat embossed parts.

Trim the image and matt onto a slightly larger piece of green card, then matt onto some lemon, then blue and last but not least, some green card, each time, leaving a border of colour showing.   Leave a larger border of the green matt.

Matt this onto the centre of the base card and glue a lemon organza bow to the top right corner.

Well folks, that's this card finished and I haven't 'faded' yet lol!    think I'm on the mend now. go away horrible bug and don't come back  ha! ha!    Hope you enjoy the rest of your week guys, have fun and I will be back very soon with another creation, possibly another of my canvases.    See you all then and thanks so much for your lovely comments and for taking the time to visit my blog, much appreciated.

                                                                   love and rainbows.

                                                        Happy Crafting   Hugs   Jennifer xx.
