Hope your day has been good, despite the wet weather. A real chilly wind has been blowing here today. What have you all been doing today? things that make you happy I hope. One more day and the weekend begins lol! The card I have for you today was made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Craft's.. I made it for their latest shows on the Create and Craft Weekender and uses their amazing new Kasbah Tile Stencil, which also has a matching mini stencil which you can decoupage. This looks really good......a decoupaged stencil lol! what a great idea. Ok off we go then.
Make a base card from purple card stock. Matt a smaller piece of white card onto the purple, leaving a small border of the purple showing.
Take the Imagination Craft's Crackle Dark Jade patterned card and lay the stencil on top and spread the sparkle mediums over the design. Remove the stencil and wash it before the sparkle medium dries on it. Leave the image to dry.
When dry, trim the stencilled card down a little so as to fit the white card with just a little border of the white showing and put this aside for the moment.
Next take some white card and lay the small matching stencil on it and spread the diamond sparkle medium over it. Repeat this once more.
When dry, cut out all the pieces and 3D onto the original image, using silicone glue. Next fix the stencilled card you put aside earlier, onto the base card. Add a small amount of the coloured sparkle medium onto the smaller, diamond coloured pieces just to bring blend the main colours in with the diamond.
Well that's is my friends, hope you enjoyed the shows if you managed to watch them. I personally love the design of this stenci.l, hope you do too.
