Christmas Sparkles.

Hi there Lovelies,

Hope you are all having a relaxing weekend.   Tonight I would like to share a card with you which I made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts  in October 2013.  This is a very simple card to make  and it uses their very pretty 'Sparkles' stencil and of course some Sparkle Medium.   Hope you like it.

Ok,   begin by making a base card from white card stock.   Onto this, matt some turquoise card, leaving a narrow border showing.

Take a further piece of white card and lay the sparkles stencil on top.   Using a piece of cut n' dry foam, dab some milled  lavender distress ink through the design on the stencil.   Remove the stencil and leave to dry.   Wash the stencil and dry it.

Next, lay the stencil back in position over the inked design but, move the stencil slightly to one side of the inked design, so as to create a shadow effect.

Spread the silver sparkle medium over the stencil using a metal spatula which can be purchased from  the Imagination Craft's website.   Remove the stencil,  wash and dry it.     Leave the image to dry.   Place the stencil back onto the card and spread the jade sparkle medium over the largest snowflake.    Remove stencil and leave image to dry.

Colour around the edges with distress ink and cut to fit the turquoise  card, leaving a small border of the turquoise card showing and fix to the base card.

Lastly, add a turquoise ribbon bow to the top left corner.

Well, that's it my friends, quite a quick and easy card to make.   Until my next blog in a couple of days, take good care of yourselves and enjoy your weekend.

                                                                    Love and rainbows,

                                                                    Big Hugs Jennifer xx.
