Good morning Peeps,
Well here we are again, at the beginning of yet another month ! The time for me to show you my project for the 1st. September 2014 Imagination Challenge Blog. There is a chill in the air in the mornings here and the Rowan tree berries are bright red, plus a few leaves on the trees are beginning to fall, a sure sign that Autumn is on the way. I love Autumn for the fabulous colours. Talking of colours lol! the card I have to share with you this morning was made using Imagination Craft's gorgeous 'Dusk til Dawn' stencil along with some Sparkle medium. Hope you like this one.
If you would like to join us in the challenge this month and you have some Imagination Craft's products in your craft stash, why not give it a go ! Remember, you have to be in it to win it! and you could be in with a chance of winning a voucher worth £40 to spend on Imagination Craft's products, a fabulous prize. NB.only projects made using Imagination products are eligible for the top prize. There is a lovely badge for your blog too. Ok off we go with this morning's card.
Begin by making a base card from black card stock. Matt a slightly smaller piece of white card onto the black, leaving a small border of black showing.
Take the 'snowflake' patterned card and lay the stencil on top and tape down with a low-tack masking tape to stop the stencil moving on the coated card.
Spread the gunmetal and silver sparkle medium over everything but the moon. Spread silver sparkle medium over the moon and add a little aqua sea medium on the moon also ( as the moon is not all one colour).
Carefully remove the tape and the stencil, then leave the image to dry.
When dry, matt the scene onto the base card and hey presto ! your card is finished. A really quick and easy card to make, yet so effective.
Well that's all from me folks. Would love it if you were to join in this month's challenge over at Imagination Craft's Challenge Blog. Please pop over to the other DT members blogs to see their amazing inspiration projects too!
See you all soon.
Love and Rainbows,
Hugs Jennifer xx.
