Christmas Owls.

Good evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Well here we are again nearly at the end of another working week! The days are passing by so quickly.   Our Grandson is back to school now for the Autumn term after the Summer holidays.

Before I begin to tell you about the card I have to share with you tonight, I would like to welcome my newest follower, Rita to my blog.   Why don't you pop over to her blog to see her wonderful creations.   Tonight's card was made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Craft's in June 2012 and uses their gorgeous 'owl's border stamp set,'   their beautiful 'snowflake flurry' stencil and of course my favourite Imagination product to date - sparkle medium.   Ok then,  off we go.

Make a base card from red card.   Matt some green onto this leaving a 1/4" border of red showing.   Cut two triangular pieces of dark blue card and glue one to the top right and one to the bottom left of the green card, leaving a tiny border of green card showing.

Take a piece of white card and lay the stencil onto it and spread the sparkle medium over it.   Remove stencil and leave image to dry.   Cut out a white circle using the Nellie Snellen dies and a die-cutting machine.

Stamp  fourteen Christmas hats onto some white card and colour with Promarker pens.   Cut out, leaving a small tag of white card just below the fur trim on each hat.

Glue the hats in the slots around the circle and glue a piece of dark blue card card to the back of the circle.   Using a white pen, put some snowflakes on the blue card.

Stamp the main owl image twice onto white card using a black inkpad and colour in the owls and the branch only, using Promarker pens.   Cut the owls and the branch out and 3D them.   Fix them to the blue circle using silicone glue.

Next fix the circle to the left side of the base card.   Add six red rhinestones to the flourish on the right of the card and one larger one to the top left corner.

Well that's all for now my friends.   Hope you like these  two cute little owls.   Take good care of yourselves until my next blog in a couple of days.    Enjoy your weekend when it arrives.

                                                               Love and rainbows,

                                                              Big Hugs  Jennifer xx
