A Pocket Watch of Butterflies.

Good evening Folks,

Hope everyone is well, not long now and the weekend will be here.   The snow has gone at last lol! and it is now wet, dull and dreary!   hopefully that will change as we get nearer to the Spring.   Speaking of the Spring brings me to the lovely thoughts of butterflies and sunshine and my card for tonight.   This card was made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Craft's TV show on Create and Craft in January and uses the latest stamp set 'Time Flies.'   Hope you like it.

Make a base card from black card.   Take a piece of white card and die-cut a scalloped circle using the  Sizzix die.   Put the die-cut circle aside for another project and use the negative, left-over card.   Colour this with distress inks and a piece of sequin waste.

Cut two squares from orange card and glue one to the top right and one to the bottom left of the base  card.   Fix the scalloped circle aperture on top of the orange squares, leaving a small border showing on two edges.

Take more black card and stamp two of the pocket watches and six butterflies using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with white embossing powder.

Cut out the watches and cut each watch in half and arrange in the shape of a butterfly, in the centre of the card.   Glue one butterfly in each corner and glue one to the centre of the card.   Cut out the upper wings and body only of the sixth butterfly and 3D onto the centre butterfly.

Stamp 'Time Flies' onto a piece of black card, again using a Versamark pad and heat embossing with white powder.   Cut the words apart and glue 'Time' to the top,  inside the circle and the 'Flies' to the bottom, inside the circle.

Hope you like tonight's card.   See you all again very soon.  Thanks for stopping by my blog and take care of yourselves.

                                                                  Love and Rainbows,

                                                                Crafty Hugs   Jennifer xx.
