Daisy Delight.

Good evening Lovelies,

Hope you've all had a good start to the week.   We still have quite a bit of lying snow here but it is slowly thawing, I'm pleased to say.    Tonight I have a card I would like to share with you, which I made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts in September 2011.   This card was made using Imagination Craft's, stencil pastes and their lovely daisy delight stencil.   Quite a quick and simple card to make.

Take some white card and lay the stencil over it.   Spread some clover and bluebell stencil paste across the stencil, using the metal spatula.   Remove the excess paste and the stencil, then leave to dry naturally.

When this is dry, matt onto some dark blue card, then white and lastly onto a lilac base card, each time leaving a narrow border of the previous colour showing.

Using the flower and flourish die from Marianne Designs, cut flowers from lilac and dark blue paper.   Glue the dark blue flower on top of the lilac flower.   Punch a small flower (Woodware) from lilac paper and glue to the centre of the blue flower.   Glue this to the top left corner of the card.   Punch out four flourishes from the same die set using the dark blue paper.   Glue these to the card next to the flower.

Using the round Nellie's multi frame die, cut out one circle from dark blue paper and glue to the bottom right of the base card.   Next punch out another, but this time use the negative, left over after the die was cut out, using the light blue card.   Glue this on top of the dark blue circle.

Punch out four blue and four lilac paper flowers using the small flower punch (Woodware).   Glue these alternatively around the light blue ring.   Punch out some tiny circles for the centres of the small flowers.

Well that's this card finished, a quick card to make, the longest time is waiting for the stencil paste to dry, the rest is simple and  just takes a little time.   Take care of yourselves until my next blog in a few days.

                                                                   Love and rainbows,
