Leaves and Flowera.

Hi there Fellow Bloggers, Followers and Visitors,

Thought I'd sneak in an extra post tonight.   This is a card I made way back in December 2006 and was made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts.   It uses a stamp set called 'Leaves and flowers,'  which sadly is no longer available but you could use similar stamps to achieve a similar end result.   Hope you like  it.   It is a little different from my normal style, but when I first saw this stamp set,  I began thinking outside the box so to speak and came up with this design rather than a flower design.   Below is a picture of the stamp set I was given to work with, so you can see which stamps I decided to use for this card.

Trim half and inch from one long edge of an A4 piece of red card amd fold in half landscape style.   Cut an oblong panel from green card six and three quarter inches by three and a quarter inches and glue to the red card.   Next cut a black oblong five and a quarter by two and three quarter inches.   Glue this centrally onto the green card.

Cut out a cream oblong  five inches by two and a half inches and matt this onto the black card, leaving a small border of black showing.

Next stamp eight large leaves onto green card using a black ink pad and cut them out.   Glue them together in a fan shape and fix to the cream panel  using sticky foam pads, on a slight angle.

Next stamp seven large  leaves onto yellow patterned paper, using a black ink pad and cut out.   Place these in a fan shape also and glue together.   Fix these leaves to the green leaf fan with sticky pads, with the leaf tips, in between the green leaves.

Glue a gold sequin on the tip of each green leaf.   Next stamp the flower and stems a total of four times, (we will only use three of the flowers, but four of the leaf stems) with black ink onto white card.   Colour the stems green and carefully cut them out.   Cut out the flowers and glue them onto the yellow leaves.   Put some red glitter glue onto  the flower heads and glue sequins onto the tendrils.

Attach some red and green fibres to the base of the fan shape and add a sequin.   Well that's all from me for now.   Look after yourselves.   I'll be back soon, thank you so much for stopping by my blog, hope you've enjoyed your visit.

                                                                   Love and rainbows,

                                                                Crafty Hugs   Jennifer xx.
