You Make My Heart Sing.

Hi there Folks,

Time for another card from me.   This time,   a card made in March 2009 for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts.     For this card I have used  a Rollagraph holder and stamp for the background and the stamp is  'Birthday Hamish,' by Sugar Nellie.   I also used  an iron and Imagination Craft's Magi-Boss Chunky embossing powder, acetate and a brayer.

Take a piece of A4 black card and fold in half to make a landscape style card.   Cut a piece of cream card to fit the front of the base card, leaving a small border showing.   Round off all four corners using the corner rounder punch .
Using the Gumdrop Big and Juicy ink pad and the brayer, colour the cream card.   When dry, roll the Rollagraph stamp over the Castaway pad and roll over the now coloured cream card.   Leave for at least five minutes  then, using a hot iron - no steam!  iron over the cream card and the 'Doodles' pattern will begin to show through.

Dab the purple and black ink pads around the edges of the patterned card.   Fix the panel to the front of the card..   Stamp  ' Hamish'  onto a piece of acetate with a black Stazon ink pad, also stamp him onto the base card.   When the acetate is dry, colour in his waistcoat, trousers and the light reflected on his shoes, with an embossing pen.   Cover with the purple Magi boss Chunky embossing powder.   Shake off the excess and heat emboss with a heat gun.   Repeat this twice more.

Cut him out and fix him over the stamped image on the base card, using Invisi-dots.   Using the Cricut machine,  'Wild Card' cartrdsge and black card,  cut out 2x3" heart icons and 1 x 2 and a half  inches, 'you make my heart sing.'     Glue the text to the top right hand side of the card.

Heat emboss two of the hearts on each heart icon, using the purple Magi boss powder and a heat gun, in the same way as you did for 'Hamish.'   Glue one heart icon to the top left and one to the bottom right.

Finally using the Woodware  musical notes punch,   punch out 5 notes  and glue to the bottom left corner of the card.

Well that's it my friends, hope you like it... This would make a really nice Valentine's card for a loved one.   Stay safe and warm, enjoy your week and I'll be back again in a few days.

                                                                 Love and Rainbows,

                                                              Crafty Hugs    Jennifer xx.
