The Secret Garden.

Hello everyone,

Hope you are all well and are enjoying this beautiful weather!   We've done quite a bit of gardening the last few days and the lawns have had their first cut, although still a little wet.   Hopefully cutting them will help dry them out after the winter weather.

I'm back again with a card I would like to share with you, which I made for Imagination Craft's  latest show on Create & Craft TV on the 18th April.   Anyone who knows me, knows I love anything to do with fairies, pixies etc.,  and this stencil is no exception lol!    The fairy design on this stencil is just so....gorgeous, I just love it!   I chose to use lavender Sparkle Medium  for the fairy, which is a favourite colour of mine.   I do hope you like it.

Make a base card from white card, then matt a piece of purple card onto the white, leaving a small border of the white showing.

Take the piece of patterned card 'Secret Garden' and lay the  'Fairy Dance'  stencil onto it,having first masked off the fairy's wings, using masking tape.

Spread the lavender Sparkle Medium over the fairy on the stencil, using the metal spatula.      Remove the stencil and leave the fairy to dry.

When dry,  remove the masking tape and place the stencil back in position on the patterned card and spread with a mixture of lavender and diamond Sparkle Medium, (mostly diamond, with a touch of lavender)
over the fairy's wings.   Remove stencil and leave the image to dry.

Die-cut a corner using the Tattered Lace die, from white card and glue this to the top right-hand corner of the patterned card.   Matt this onto the purple card.

Die-cut some flowers from white card,. using the Memory Box die and glue these to the bottom left and right-hand corners.

Die-cut some leaves from white card,  using the Tattered Lace die and glue these behind the flowers.   Punch out one large butterfly and four small butterflies from white card and glue to the card front, so the fairy is surrounded by butterflies, adding one to her right arm and one on her right leg.

Well that's it finished, a very quick and easy card to make.    I will soon be receiving the products for the next show and I will be making some new samples, so I think I should get more gardening done whilst the weather is  good and before I begin making more samples, then I won't feel guilty about my crafting lol !!

Take care of yourselves until next time.   Enjoy the rest of your week.    I'll be back in three days, hope to see you then.

                                                                   Love and rainbows,

                                                                    Hugs   Jennifer xx.
